Wow!! Ok, it's so difficult for me to look at a tool and just call it perfect, but I literally cannot think of any improvements that could be made to this mower. It is the holy grail of electrical reel mowers for the average sized lawn. I am extremely impressed by how quiet it is, the cut quality, and the ease at which you can swap out reels. It's going on my wishlist.

Great video. I have a ton of ego equipment and several batteries. I've been seriously considering this mower. I live in CT and my concern is maintenance and repairs. Where the heck would I take this thing in or at least where would I take the reel cartridge to get sharpened?
Thank you!! I would like to try some of the ego brand tools. The most maintenance for these is just backlapping or getting it spin grind.. so find out where your golf courses get their reels sharpened and you go there. I think Allett provides this service too.

I agree. It is very expensive. There are other similar mowers like the swardman, reel rollers just came out with one that does attachments too. But, the Allett is pretty sick.

How many sq ft is your lawn? I see that the mower doesn't come with a battery and charger, where did get your battery and charger??
2ksqft. You’re correct. I bought an Ego string trimmer with a 5ah battery. But then I converted the string trimmer to the rotary scissors and share the battery. It’s enough for my lawn. I want another 5ah for when I’m scarifying and need a longer run tho.
I get the same stripes with my rotary mower with a "$30 HOME MADE ROLLER" I just don't get spending thousands of dollars on a mower for no reason. The mower is not the secret, your quality of turf is, If you have the turf you get stripes for pennies.
I’m seriously looking to get the Stirling but on the fence due to concerns about service and support.
Support hasn’t been the best if I’m being honest. But as far as service, you should only need to sharpen once a year which golf courses could help you out with that. Or backlapping as needed (once a year?)

Cheaper yes, but they will be discontinuing that model and coming out with something in place of it next year… still a fantastic mow tho!

I owned a toro GreensMaster 1000 and sold it for this. So yeah, I would 😁. My lawn was too small for such a big mower like the GM.

Spendy for sure. But also, incredible to use with its quick change system.
I'll get one, hopefully before the end of the year. I just need to wear out this push reel mower first. I'll just tell my Wife it's a "cheap" electric mower when it comes in 😂
