I have said this (or similar) here before but I feel it’s worth saying again.
I’m agnostic, I have huge issues with organised religion a lot due to difficult and traumatic childhood that I can’t go into here however Peter and Mary bring me hope, comfort and joy. They remind me daily about the wonderful aspects of religion and faith, they help me in my own battles with a life limiting medical condition, help me see light in dark places, feel God in my struggle. I was leaking tears through this presentation because not only was it a heartfelt talk about Peter and Mary’s own personal battle but one that resonates not only for those with chronic illness but also with the struggles that everyone faces in life. Slowly and surely Mary and Peter are re building my faith on brick at a time.

Yes to this!! I am non-religious, and Mary and Peter have really introduced me to the wonderful aspects of religion in general. I still don't count myself as being religious, but I am more open-minded and accepting of how powerful religion can be thanks to this channel. Thanks Mary and Peter
Sloane Wesloh you don’t have to go to church to be saved . All you need is to accept Jesus as your savior. He knows all the troubles we’ve been through and all the sins we’ve all committed but through it all He loves us and He’s waiting for us to say yes Jesus I believe you are my savior and I’m your child.
you don't have to worry about being religious because religion really has nothing to do with GOD. religion is more like ritualistic behavior. one can smoke cigarettes "religiously."

JAMES 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
in other words, care for and help others in need, and keep yourself pure from this dirty world. GOD bless you guys.
beauty for ashes my personal interpretation is God and heaven is thus,
God is in the everyday actions of every human being, every expression of love, kindness, hope, tenderness, giving, sacrifice and respect. God is in every act of bravery from having the courage to wake up and live another day to standing alone and powerless against the most powerful to defend and protect your fellow human. God is in every moment of beauty and wonder. God is the human condition in its purest and kindest form, God is in choosing to love over hate, in choosing to lay our weapons down and embrace all people with understanding and kindness. In the vision is what God is lies the vision of what heaven is and Faith is the act of looking for love over hate.
You don’t need a religion to find God, you don’t have to call it God to know it and recognise it. All you need is to find the good in our fellow humans.
This is just my view and interpretation, as I said before, Peter and Mary have helped me both remember that organised religion can be a loving and joyous place despite my dark experiences and their attitudes, outlook and acceptance have reminded me to see God in my everyday again.

Mary you’re so right there are so many people that’s to sick to leave their homes and you and Peter ministers to us. No I don’t have CF but adrenal insufficiency, IBS, chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia and on and on. But you bring a ray of sunshine into my life everyday and I thank God for you and Peter and Ollie and our new pal Harry.

It was such a privilege to be able to attend this conference Friday night and hear you both share your heart for the gospel and how God is working in your lives! As I’ve already said, you guys did a fantastic job. My pastor is a Moody alum. He knew I was interested in seeing this so he recorded your speech and sent it to me. I also watched the live stream. You not only minister to those with CF, but when you choose joy, to those dealing with any rare and incapacitating disease. I ♥️ you both!
Watching your videos has shifted how I see life in small ways, and reminds me of how much good there can be in the world. I'm not sure if I'm using this word in the right way but I feel like what you've done is ministry work.

Beautifully said👏👏👏. Ive been living the home-bound/bed-bound, chronic illness, chronic pain life while at the same time couchsurfing and bed hopping for the past decade (if that makes any sense). It has been my worst nightmare come true but at the same time ive found a certain amount of sanity believe it or not. Ive been experiencing extended amounts of isolation so ive had time to return to God (was too busy working, raising kids, etc before) and open my heart & mind to better understand what's been happening to me and our world. Ive found incredible people online like you two who consistently give me hope and restore my faith in God on days that would otherwise be very bleak. Ive made countless adjustments in my lifestyle that allow me to be healthier than ive ever been (stomachaches are gone, depression disappeared, haven't had an ear infection in several years) but I still struggle with every day issues (fibromyalgia, a bad back, securing permanent living arrangements, finding things to keep myself occupied while in bed). Im coping as best i can and listening for direction from above. Thanks for being an inspiration to me for so long (ive been a sub for a few yrs). It's crazy i was curious about cystic fibrosis and the path led me straight to you. Ive never met a sweeter, more genuine couple. Thanks for always making me feel like part of the family no matter what bed or couch im sleeping on.🙏🥰

You guys do exactly as you say you do. I'm thankful that there are people like you and I thank you for being a light in the darkness and for letting yourselves be an instrument for God to speak to others.
In recent years I've come to the conclusion that I'm never going back to church. It's been too much of being told by church people and church leaders that if I'm sick is because I did something wrong or I have no faith. It's been enough of hearing church leaders talk about suffering and faith when they have no idea what it's like to have a chronic illness but you guys give me hope, not only that not every church or person of faith is like that but you show me that a chronic illness doesn't have to be viewed as a punishment from God and not getting better as a sign that you lack in faith but that through that God's love can shine.
Also, I wish you had subtitles in other languages, I'd love to show this to my family (who only speak Spanish)

What an inspirational video! When I started my channel about a year or two ago, it was in hopes to show inspiration for surviving trauma and illness as well as new chapters in life from a survivor. I used to have many videos but deleted them all due to judgement. I’ve thought about restarting that.
This video really moved me and now I’m CERTAIN I want to restart!
May God continue to hold you both in the palm of His hand.
You two truely delight and inspire and leave me in awe most days. The days when I'm struggling you bring me a smile do effortlessly. I don't struggle with an illness I am a caregiver to my husband who struggles. As easy as Peter makes it look some days I have to muster all my strength and beliefs to make it thru a day. And at the end of every day I sit down with Peter and Mary and always end my day smiling and for that I am always so grateful. And PS I think Harry needs to make it into the intro! Thanks again.
