I recently watched a show on BBC4 about his life and career and he honestly seemed as really nice person, very humble, honest and genuine. Plus there is something cool about him!!!
Jools Holland Hootenanny = Best music line up on TV every year at the same time. Jules Holland is a legend for sharing people like this with the rest of the world.
I got to see him on Saturday at Hammersmith Apollo! He blew my mind with his style and show, he might only use 3 strings for most of his songs, but he makes the most of all of them and does on 3 what many can't do on 6!
I saw him on Top Gear first too. It's amazing to think the Brits were to the ones to discover this amazing piece of Americana. Much love for Seasick Steve! A genius if there ever was one. Now there's some irony for ya.
you are top notch, cream of the crop, A+,#1 Seasick!!!!!!!!! An original! This man is already a star and one of my faves...along with the likes Stevie Ray,Hendrix,Danny Gatton,Leo Kottke,to name just a couple.
Saw him on Top Gear too, but originally heard of him on Jools Holland in 2007. Seasick Rules! Such a unique style! and on top gear he seemed like a really nice bloke too - and a decent driver :-)
I've heard of this guy before, but after finding out a bit more about him and hearing this track I can actually say I'm now a fan. Yes Seasick Steve has a fair whack to offer us Rock Fans eh?
Any one wondering about that beautiful noise it's The Three String Trance Wonder This is a normal guitar, but with only three strings. It has an old Harmony pickup added (with duct tape) and is played tuned to G, G and B using an E string in the A position, a D in the G position and a G in the B position. (from guitar noise forums)
my fav blues singer at the moment got his new album started out with nothing for my birthday going to jb hifi(the only place i can find them) and buy the rest soon he,s like me to lazy to replace his strings
@gnbruins23 Seasick Steve uses a Roland Cube set to the Tweed setting. A fender Tweed champ or Deluxe would serve the same purpose, and you can build one yourself.

Rock on Steve, you're a man from another time - from OUR time! We all are proud having you in our time.
We have good music in this world! THX, STEVE!
