I watched his role as a lawyer in SWABHIMAN serial, a mega serial in DD 1 in 1996-97....I was 22 years old....I watched all episodes....I was started my civil engineering profession in those days...now I am Assistant Engineer in PWD & an youtuber...... 🌹🌹❤️❤️

What's there to laugh at after hearing "Bhojpuri" ? isn't it also a language ? .. This kind of linguistic imperialism and Hindi imperialism is ruining so many languages in our country, they are slowly getting wiped out.
I thought the same thing. As if Bhojpuri is not a legitimate language. Its hurtful.
But to be honest, people of Bihar are partly responsible for this. They have turned Bhojpuri into a language of cheap films and vulgar music videos... I dont think there has been any decent art in Bhojpuri in decades...
Sometimes even Bihari people prefer Hindi and see Bhojpuri as inferior (which doesn't happen with Tamils, Bengakis, Gujaratis, Punjabis, etc)

But the thing is I am pretty sure good works in bhojpuri language exists but quite tactfully only the negativity is always portraid and spread . i have heard good soft folk songs in bhojpuri but when u will ask ppl to give one example they will all come up with lolipop lagelu , caz that is deliberately made famous pushing more and more to the social media.
