You can add turmeric for a brighter orange hue

THANK YOU. SO many thai recipes start with "add 1 cup thai tea mix" and I'm just like. Uuuuugh. XD

Thank you! I thought it tasted similar to chai and have been looking for some who actually made the tea and not just brew a purchased mix. Great video, thanks and cheers!

    So, Thai
    Tea really
    has cloves
    in it.
    Guess it's
    not my tea.

Finally I get a #realrecipe !!!! P.S the reason it isn't ORANGE is because he didn't DYE his tea leaves.

How much tea leaves did you add to the water?

Hi! I see there are different types of loose leaf black teas available. Which one(s) do you recommend for this recipe?

They all should be pretty similar but Assam is a good bet!

Can you use tea bags instead of loose leaf? If so, how many bags do you recommend?

    • @BeyondtheBag

Tea bags could caused the final product to be a bit more bitter. If you are going to use them, I would recommend using 2-3. Cheers!

this is exactly what i was looking for! everyone else uses the premade tea but that has given me headaches.
I have whole green cardamon pods. is that okay?
    Thank you!

Hi there, I can’t make out the ingredients and measurements. Mind clarifying? This looks great! I’ve been looking for a recipe without artificial dyes.
