@@shredder9536 u used to be able to get certain plug point leads that u connect from plugging into the back or the vcr and then to either a hi fi unit or connect the lead from the vcr to the back of the hi fi speaker (which back then all vcr's and hi fi's were usually near each other in the living room) then swicth aux sound on vcr and, voila, the sound would be transfered to hi fi speaker from tv instead of coming out of tv, it would triple the sound of tv speakers and be clearer, as when u turned up the tv really loud in 90's, most tv's didn't have the quality and clarity of quality of todays modern tv's and the old ones usually sounded distorted and crackly loud and some would tremor when loud, TV's were huge units back then, almost as deep as they were wide and heavy, a big tv would usually take 2 people to move! Transferring the sound to hi fi speakers via certain leads gave it a bit of surround sound, like being at the gig plus much louder. The 90's :)

Tony McCarroll was perfect for the Definitely Maybe era. Alan White and Chris Sharrock are great drummers but Tonys style fits this era so much better. Always thought Columbia doesnt sound right when Alan played it.
I saw them at the Corn Exchange in Cambridge the year before this show. The whole gig was epically loud, but when they played Columbia it was like repeatedly being punched in the face by a massive wall of sound!👊😵🤯

The fuzzy, muddy guitar tone is beautiful - you can just swim in it. They moved away from it as time went on, but this is great.
