My parents usually said no when it came to pets. So, my sister just didn't ask. After getting a job, she got a cat we named Mochi. And it was so fun, because after getting Mochi, guess who's mother fell in love with.
Then my sister moved out and took the cat with her as the ultimate revenge.

So this one time I was going to my car with my family and we saw a raccoon across the road. Then a guy started to walk by with headphones on, looking at his phone and the raccoon started chasing the guy like it was gonna square up and the guy did not notice. Then when they guy passed a dumpster the raccoon stopped chasing him and went to the dumpster without the guy once noticing.

I love pets too. I have two dogs (a Beagle and a hound mix) , a zebra finch, and a Betta fish. Unfortunately I think my fish has dropsy. It's incurable and deadly. :c

When I was about 12, I was getting into a ferret faze, so one time we were going to the local petsmart, for my dog, and Somehow the conversation went to talking about rodents, and that was the day I found out my mom hated all rodents, and included ferrets as rodents. So that idea was crushed at birth.

I’ve got two mice and the STINK it’s so bad their cage has to be cleaned very often and my bedroom window has to be cracked at all times. Not only would the smell fill my bedroom but so would the ammonia from their pee which would not only make me sick it would make them sick. Other than that they’re pretty easy to take care of. The mice themselves don’t smell bad just their cage. I feed them like two large pellets a day change their water and interact with them and they’re good. They really love seeds as treats and one of them stuffs her cheeks with them and runs off to hide them. I really love my mice.
Rats are definitely my favorite, mine are litter trained and wash there face by cupping water out of their bowls and splash water on their face 🥰 they are super smart and figure out dog and parrot puzzle toys in just hours sometimes and come up to you to give you kisses in the morning.
I get their not for everyone though.
I'm 99% certain I bother my mom with my constant animal obsession, because I absolutely ADORE animals of... all kinds tbh. Every time I go to the feed store nearby with her to get food for our chickens, I hang out by the mice and rats to just... admire them because gosh DARN are they adorable. And I'm sure she's heard me talk PLENTY about honeypot ants, lmao. but I don't ever bother her about getting one, I just. plan accordingly and hope to get both some mice, ants, chickens, and maybe a rabbit or three.

Anna-Lena Drawings Axolotls are actually a lot of work.. i know that because i had to take care of my friends for a few days and oh my god they are so hard to take care of.. You have to keep their cage at a certain temperature, humidity, certain water length, and a certain water tempature i couldn’t handle it so i was relived when she took him back 😂

I wasnt as obssesed as most people, I was a polite kid, I know adults will get mad( and I get the smack) if I annoy them too much. what I do was, everytime I see a dog, I turn my head and ask my grandma "arent they sooo cwwuutee" and give her the look ' get me a dog, rn'. that worked! almost.. we ended up bought a dog( I think it was a golden retriever, she was cute, she would follow me everywhere I go and I still remember the dreamy feeling when she would sleep on my feet and I just pet her with my one tiny finger, I was scared I might hurt her I think..) but we gave her away after like, a week... she didnt even have a proper name(cries).
and I remember we had a lot of chiks( they all died young),Fishes, bunnies, turtles, hamsters.. annnd a duck. a baby duck, it was super cut and fluffy.( one day I came home and shes gone. maybe grandma got rid of her?? or maybe shes ded)
And now I have a 4year old biggle. shes BEAUTIFUL. 3 years ago I can still hold her in one hand, and now I can barely hold her for 3 minutes. When she first came home, I was like “...shit.. I didnt know we're getting a dog..."

When I was a kid I was INLOVE with mice and rats and I still am I have two rats and one mice now
I begged my mom for years when I was 10 for a guinea pig, she got me a female one in fall and I named her jazzy. She was a very well behaved pet, and soon she had pups. 3. 2 girls 1 boy. The boy was named capy the 2 girls was named cream and tie. Cream didn’t last that long and capy died because my brothers weren’t paying attention to him so he got his ribs crushed by getting stuck behind his cage. We had another guinea pig named blonka. She had babies, they died, we gave her to my cousins’ who also had guinea pigs, she died. And then jazzy died, and I cried for so long but I tried not to because my parents actually hate rodents so it didn’t faze them. Now I only have tie and I’m trying my best to keep her alive. And a year later (after winter) we begged our parents for a dog. We begged until winter and they finally got us on. He’s an all white heeler with a mask. And we named him lucci.

I legit have dreams where I own rabbits, dogs, cats, ferrets, guinea pigs and a tortious, sometimes an axolotl too. Currently I only have a cat and a dog with my dad and guinea two guinea pigs with my mom but someday I'm going to have a fucking zoo of small furry and scaly friends and I can't wait! No birds though, they scream to much XD
