Never ever felt any threat in Thailand from Thai people, have however seen westerners that I would not trust and would avoid. My advice is just be aware of the situation as you would in any country in the world
I would ditto some of the previous comments. But would add, look for the friendly and honest Thais. I met a nice Thai taxi driver back in 2014. He has made sure I am taken care of wether he drives me or someone else he trusts. I have met others I feel safe with and they have my back. Every country has it's problems, live your life the best way you can.
I never had a problem traveling in Thailand alone or in a groupe but I always make sure to take certain precautions The do not drink from unsealed bottles is something I follow everywhere not just in Thailand
Been a similar number of times and loads of issues. LOLZ. My mate had his necklace snatched right off of his neck in broad daylight by 2 'guys' on a motorbike.
I was staying at hotel in Nawamin Rd. that is 20min from center and never had to be careful or something like that. It is far away from center but people are friendly and polite as in center as in all Thailand. Smile and enjoy
Thailand is much safer than most countries especially in Europe/US. I would rate few countries like Japan, NZ, and Scandenavia to be safer. I live here 48 years with relax lifestyle and got zero rob in my life.
They key to traveling anywhere just use common sense. Avoid areas off limits, don't flash your wealth or status, mind your surroundings and be vigilant know the countries laws.
✌🏼✌🏼Thailand is a safe destination, be a bit careful and nothing will happen to you! Avoid dispute and noisy discussions, thanks for showing your experience, stay safe 🙏🇹🇭
Im from Chicago and Muslim. I want to visit am " unsafe" city in deep southern thailand. I dont drink. I live wet, say and night markets. And plenty of mosque. Anyone with recommendations?
Totally agree. We've been there multiples times in the past years and we'll come to Thailand again very soon.
The most dangerous thing in Thailand are the roads, reckless driving, motorcycle accidents and crossing the streets in certain intersections.
Yes, it is true. I am Thai and scared to cross the street!
Completely agree!!

Be street smart. Thai people are hospitable and kind. Just reciprocate and enjoy the treatment. The best Asian country of my choice - Thailand!

I think the security problem in Europe comes from immigrants. I have never been to the culture that immigrants bring. It makes Europe less attractive.
Very nice video ❤
Thank you

I dont care what someone who has never been said 10 years ago
Safer then England it's sinking
Will Thailand still “Safe” after Jan-8-2023 with the China tourist coming ????
You don’t have to worry. China orders her citizens to have negative PCR TEST before getting out of the country. The risk is Westerners, not Chinese.
If you are afraid of Covid 19, I would say safe.
As a Thai person the biggest danger is the road, be very careful when you're riding a motorcycle!!

Your room getting broken into is probably the number one problem.
generally, who breaks into it and how often does it happen ? If stuffs in a room safe will it be ok?
@@zacghent8564 Safes are fine but often small.
@@Roof_Pizza What hotels? Very very rare of room invasion in Thailand. TBH never heard of it.
Always do some homework before any plan you make for yourself
