Surat to Indore Road Trip via Bardoli and Sahada | Roving Family
We left Surat at 10 am and reached Indore via Bardoli, Sonagadh, Sahada and Sendhwa. After Sahada Google sent us on Maharashtra SH 1 and then to enter MP it showed a route which does not exists. Following another route as suggested by locals we ended up crossing a river to enter MP.
I strongly suggest not to take this route for Indore unless you have proper idea of roads near Sahada.
Best route is Surat Bharuch Godhra Indore.

It was indeed an adventurous journey.
I have observed that no matter which state you are in... traveling 300-500 KMs takes 5 to 8 hrs respectively.
Google map has played with me too on number of occasions. Can't help there is no alternate for tourists like us. I had been requesting NHAI to develop good app for us, but they are not keen.

Though the 'adventure' through the rivulet got us tense for you and the family. We have had a similar problematic situation with Google maps - last few km. to Kumbhalgarh [from Chittorgarh] - took us through a 2.2 meter wide patchy village track :(

Is bar to aapka ruff road adventure ho gya sir ji..... pehli bar ye rasta dekha bardoli to Indore.....not safe in night I think....aap godhra dahod hote jate duble lane highway milta pura......or muje pehle pta hota to apko Dahod ki world famous kachori samose khilate ham 😋😋......Indore k dal bafle jarur try krna .....hv nice n safe journey 👍👍
Don't worry pratik ji, khane ke liye hum kahi bhi jaa sakte hai. Dahod bhi aa jayenge kabhi.

Yes, but I would suggest you to take Godhara route
Godhara route is proper one completely 4 lane highway,.,. And safe route
Yes just 20 km longer than this...u couldn't take shahda route, instead dhule route would be better
