I had the furitek torpedo in my 4ws capra and my other 2 regular capras but they cogged a lot so I returned them because furitek has a 30 day return policy. Bought 3 of the hobbywing mini 16 and they work great
I am looking into getting the fusion 16 for my bushido 12. Question: Is the connector an ec2 male or female. Great looking rig you got there. Keep up the great work.
You skipped over the fact the Fusion uses an EC2 connector but the Spectrum batteries are "IC2" (I think)? There's an adapter that comes in the box, does this allow you to connect the spectrum batteries to the Fusion?
I have a ? on the new rig. I have seen out of the box it’s hard to keep a steady slow crawl. Since you put in the HobbyWing Fusion Mini 16 does this give you a much better slow crawl and more control ? If you were going to add or do any more mods to it what would you throw at it ? THANKS…
@@user-dd8uk1qg2g yes the fusion 16 is perfect for the slow control crawl that's what I was after. Honestly the only other mod I'd do is maybe a little bit of brass down low and the front and rear steering links.
@ Kool beans… Thanks for the info. That rig and whatcha get for the money pretty sweet. So all I need is that ? Do I have to do anything else to set it up to do that ? What’s the plate thing I hear for it if that makes any sense and what it does ? Still new to the RC game. I have a 1/6 Honcho. I been going back and forth with this rig or the 1/10 version.
@user-dd8uk1qg2g no problem you're. The only thing you need with that hobby wing motor is the adapter plate I believe it's $10 and all that is for is to mount the motor to the transmission so that the bolt holes line up perfectly. That's all I would do honestly is put the HobbyWing Fusion Mini 16 in the rig seems to perform very nice
I’m new to RC cars, and just ordered this same car and same mini 16 motor. Does the stock remote still work or do I need to replace it? Also, does the 4 wheel steering still work?
@@danimal2013 everything will still work the 4ws and the stock transmitter, just make sure you have the motor plate for the mini 16 motor. I over looked it. But yes stock transmitter and 4ws and light still work.
@ I ordered the plate also, thanks to your video. I appreciate your help. When you’re new to this, it’s hard to find information on what works, and what doesn’t. I can’t wait to learn though. I can see how this could be addicting, and totally consume my life. Lol.

Nice little project, Nate. That’s gonna be fun to drive. 😎
@@OGRCFanatic thanks, I can't wait to actually try it out.
Im going out on a limb.. You can probably throw a rock to the I 81/I 70 interchange...I got the same crawler.. brushless incoming!

@@chachfunks6906 thank you. Yes it is there should be an adapter with your manuals when you purchase the truck so you can use the stock battery

Just seen you're using a different battery :-/
@@DavePinnock I apologize, yes when you buy the truck it comes with the separate adapter plug so that you can use the stock battery.
