    Hey everyone! You might notice some mid-roll ads in this video. This will change from next video onwards when youtube will finally let me remove them. Thanks for your patience and support as I grow the channel 🫶
    Update: The midroll ads should be gone now 😀

    I can't believe Vera Menchik, the first Women's World Chess Champion dropped the hardest line ever. I fully woke up from my gentle doze when you read her quote, "Victory over women doesn't satisfy me anymore, I want to drink men's blood."
    I might have to get that tattooed.

    I love the sound of the GARDE chessclock. I have one, its from 1984. These clocks were made in the German Demokratic Republic.
    I am also a proud owner of the Kasparov book.
    Greetings from Hamburg, where the match between Kasparov and Hübner was played in 1985. (You showed Spasski on the photo).

    what about Nf6? covers the h5 pawn and prevents rd8 via Ng8

    • @StudyQueenASMR
      @StudyQueenASMR  16 днів тому

      Though White could first play Rd8+ and once the knight goes to g8, the queen would capture on h5 with checkmate

It's like playing an endgame the whole game lol I watched magnus play an Italian game the other day identical to how I've played it 100 times but never understood anything all intution

    I know this is just my personal preference and others may not be affected, but there's a lot of hiss and S sounds in this video and it's quite harsh on my ears. It sucks because this is good video otherwise. I'm not demanding you to change anything but in case you want to improve it maybe using a de-esser (in editing) would work. Or maybe it's just the position of the mic. Anyway it's mostly a nitpick but hopefully feedback is still welcome.
