I opened a ticket with Konami, I suggest you guys do the same. This is what I wrote to them. The minimum mouse sensitivity in this game is 0.25. This minimum setting is significantly higher than what the average gamer uses. The obvious solution to this problem is to patch the UI to allow users to configure the minimum value 0.01. This is such a wide spread issue that people are making youtube videos on how to use a hex editor to manipulate the player profile file in the back end to manually override this value. This should be a 5 min fix for the UI team. Fixing this will prevent me from returning this game, and who knows how many others. The fact that this game shipped with an arbitrary limitation like this makes no sense to me. Why 0.25? What kind of mice were you testing with? All reputable gaming mice have a minimum of 400 DPI and most of us use 800 DPI, but 400 DPI is still WAY too sensitive with the in game sensitivity set to 0.25. I'm trying to imagine what conditions would have to be true for this problem to go unnoticed and ship with a problem this glaring. Was 100% of play testing was performed with a controller? Are you guys using trackball mice? I really don't get it. Here's a UA-cam video where they explain how to use a hex editor to "fix" the mouse sensitivity (any time you want to adjust the sensitivity using this method requires you to close the game, open the hex editor, find the lines, adjust them, save and close the editor, and relaunch the game). ua-cam.com/video/pUKdtSk_4DI/v-deo.html
@@mysterious.Podcast There's a bug in the hex editor. You can try restarting or just manually look for it. If you still can't find it, launch the game and manually adjust the values to 1.25, close the game, reopen the hex editor and search
FF FF 9F 3F represents the 1.25 if you adjust the LSensitiviyX X or y in the game settings. It usually comes after trailing 0s if you watch the video carefully. I don't think you can miss it. If you can't see it means your value in the game is not 1.25
Worked great for me, thank you so much!... But I still have too high aim sens for my liking even at the lowest 0.20 in game. Do you know where to hex edit that too?
Thanks!. Search for 'AimSensitivityX' followed by 'FloatProperty' and trailing zeros. The value you're looking for is likely 'CD CC 4C 3E.' Lemme know if it works ;)
@@feargamingproductions when searching for that it doesn't come up, nor does the value. Was this at the default 0.50 or did you put it to max 0.80 in the menu first?
@@YamaMX Set the in-game sensitivity to 1.25, and the corresponding value in the file should be "FF FF 9F 3F". If the "Ctrl + F" function doesn't work, you can manually search for the text values, as demonstrated at the 1:23 timestamp in the video. If you still can't find it, try restarting the hex editor and search again. You can also use the backup "PlayerProfile.save.bak" file to restore the original file too.
@@feargamingproductions aim sens doesn’t go to 1.25 you’re talking about camera look sens. Aim maxes at 0.80. AimSens also doesn’t come up via text like camera look sens.
Ops sorry I read wrongly. Have you tried to restore the backup file? The latest save file values may be messed up. Hence this might be the reason you can't see the text value anymore.
@@feargamingproductions it causes all kinds of problems like this in so many games. forced smoothing in games, forced mouse accel or negative mouse accel, and even mouse sensitivity that is bound to your current fps; just like this fix helped me lowering the sens but the game is still changing the sensitivity depending on my fps drops where the lower it is the faster it becomes lol
@@kristoffseisler2163 hmmm 🤔 now that you said this I'm wondering whether the "Off the Grid" game also has the same problem. The aiming feels a bit weird in that game too.
Worked like a charm! I hate it when games don't let the player change the sensitivity to whatever value they want

Great 👍. I hope they do something about it. If I'm not wrong, they also had this problem with the original game.
Thank you, it works
glad it worked buddy ;)

same, I have to underclock my raptor lake i7 cpu because unreal 5 hates processors that are too powerful
