Hey Justin, thanks for the kind words man. Chuffed you enjoyed the video. Yeah, these Strega’s are just amazing….you kinda never know where they’re gonna end up and I just love that!! Thanks again for checking my stuff out. Rob.
Hey man….it’s a crazy delay that’s built directly into the Strega. It’s amazing to mess around with and you can get some awesome results with it. Such good fun!! Cheers for checking my video out 😊
Hey!! Cheers for the advise. I’m so new to modular/semi modular stuff like this I’m really learning on the fly so still not sure what does what. I appreciate the advise…I think I get what you mean and will try it out. Thanks.
I sure did dude. It kicked in about half way through my set and was responsible for the more industrial rhythmic elements. I flipping love this thing. It’s amazing on its own, and equally as killer as a effects processor running external sound into it. Last week I was using it freestanding. I’ve got recordings of my set, both audio and video so hopefully at some point this month I’ll stick up a video of my set so you should be able to see it on action 😊
If you choose to accept this mission and you are caught or killed, then secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions. This synth will self destruct in 5 seconds. Good luck Mr Rorquals ;-)
Yeah you’re not wrong there!! It has a total mind of its own, love it 🖤 Thanks for checking out my video and subscribing to my channel. Really appreciate it!
Hey!! Is it?? I’m still so confused by the patching on this thing, but was pretty sure the right one was an out that I fed back into the external input…but it wouldn’t surprise me if I’d done it wrong. Such a big learning curve getting used to semi modular for the first time! Cheers for checking out the video though!
Still sounds awesome so no worries! The manual (I had to look too because I was confused about what that jack does) calls this gold-colored jack the “ Tonic Modulation Interference Input,”. If you look really closely at the end of the gold line right next to the jack the end is an arrowhead pointing into the jack. I’m referring to the first patch at 3:28. Nice job!
@@troymckaskle ahh yeah, I see the little arrow. It can be tricky knowing what’s in and out but I think I’m gradually figuring it out. Thanks for enjoying the video mate…it been my most popular video to date so I’m super happy about that!!
Haha. I wish mate!!! I fell in love with these when they first started appearing in videos on UA-cam. Just so cool, experiential and crazy. So I decided to save damn hard for a while so I could treat myself to one. Haven’t been able to put the thing down since, hence it appearing in so many of my videos. Cheers for the appreciation though man, I’m chuffed you’re digging the vids!
Gotta say, this video’s easily one of the best I’ve seen on the Strega. 🔥
@@Mafyoutube Wow!! Thank you for such an awesomely kind comment. So pleased you enjoyed my video 😊

This is the character Strega seems to be designed for.
Well done. Stayed interesting the whole time. It is so fun to wander on that thing.

Strega has a built in reverb type effect?

@@RORQUALS very cool. Strega is high up on my wishlist!
@@IntangibleMan Yeah man….it took me some hard saving to pick one up, but it was well worth it!! Such cool instruments. You won’t regret it!!
in order to make the four -/+ controls functional, you need to connect a signal to the white square input

👏 Did you have this with you when we played in Ipswich last week?

like an alien's motorbike! It's really compelling.

I think you patched an input to an input.

You don’t own MakeNoise stock, do you? You’re trying (successfully) hard at selling these Stregas! 😄
