Can The Crisis Jotunn In War Robots Deliver A One Shot Kill?

- War Robots Gameplay of the Crisis with the NEW Jotunn weapons. The Jotunn weapon is an ice rocket launcher with 600m range and a reload time of 7 seconds. While this setup can certainly do a lot of damage (keep in mind too the Crisis also has the Overpower mode plus you’re firing 4 heavy weapons), in most of the games I played I actually went down very quickly. I think in terms of damage overall, the Crisis Decay is more terrifying only because with that setup the damage happens far quicker. So… is it a “one shot kill” setup, the answer is no.

Definitely deadly although in most of my games I was going down pretty quickly. Also… from the games I played I wouldn't really call this a "One Shot Kill" setup. I find the Crisis Decay far more terrifying than this one simply because with that build the damage is done so quickly and the reload is faster too.

The longer you fire your weapons, the longer you're out of stealth, and the longer you're vulnerable. That's why I think Crisis builds that use weapons that empty their clips quickly (Decay) or fire one shot (Thermite, Gauss) are typically better
That's a good point. I definitely prefer the Decay build over this. Even when I ran Subduers I felt like I survived longer but also dealt more damage because of me being alive for that much longer.

I actually like the Decay build more I think but this is more of a personal preference.
Hey Adrian I got a few questions about my hanger since I don’t get selected to be featured in dream hangers (which is perfectly fine btw) I wanted to ask you what I should purchase from 5000 gold that I’ve saved up since 1995? A nuclear amplifier for my sonic shenlou (will change to harpoon) or fenrir with explo shotguns? Or should I buy 2 fortifiers for my level 6 dagon to strengthen it’s shield? Also should I change my lynx built from stake to nucleons?
I’m asking questions from you because you reply to them which I really appreciate, thank you very much ❤
I don't think Fortifiers is really a module worth purchasing unless you're building something very specific like the Shenlou with Harpoons although even with that build you have to be carefuol now because of the change to Unstable Conduit. For me if I had gold the first thing would be making sure all hangar slots are open, after that I would maybe look at pilots depending on what bots I have (for example Arnav Poe for the Ravana or Bernadette Wolff for the Fenrir if you don't have Liesel) and if you already have those then maybe something like Nuclear Amplifiers.
As for your Lynx build I would rather actually gravitate towards something like Redeemers, Punchers or maybe Hammers. Redeemers and Punchers will be more of what I would typically run. Right now on my Baby Account I have Redeemers but I'm actually levelling up a second Puncher as Punchers charge up the mothership faster.

I did build a Fenrir from the workshop and currently gonna do the Glory Corona build on it, you think that a good weapon choice or is there something better for the fenrir?
I wouldn't go for Glory-Corona. I think a better option at this point might be Hammer-Mace. You could also try Puncher-Igniter. I've been running this build on my Ultimate Fenrir and it builds up that mothership accumulation pretty quick. While I do know I'm using the Ultimate Fenrir and Ultimate Igniters, flamethrowers in general are very strong and they charge your mothership up fast. You can also build both Puncher and Igniters in the Workshop along with Hammer and Mace. Hope this helps!
Hi Adrian I’m sad to say that after playing WR for 9 years as free to play player I quit the game and uninstalled the app as the game is beyond fix, wish you luck!
I noticed that you need to be at least more than 300m away from the enemy to curve your shots over and I realised that the explosive ice missiles have quite a bit of bullet spread the further you are from the enemy .
Yeah you can't be too close. Also I noticed sometimes when I was firing at players in the air it seems like I miss? This build can do a lot of damage but there's a lot of weaknesses to it. I think the Decay is far deadlier since it not only has the same range it also delivers the damage faster and has a faster reload on top of that.
I tried this built in the test server it's was marvelous !

Crisis builds like these would be SO busted if your team memebers held off the reds and you just sit at around mid range doing crazy dmg. I think that every time you squad up you need a player that has one of these builds and you would just decimate the lobbys
I would actually go with Decay over this setup as I think Decay would do far more damage. Something else I noticed but I'm not sure whether it's by design or not - sometimes when I fired at flying bots it looked like I was missing.
@@adrianchongthat is why pathfinder has a lockdown ability, the ice rockets have aiming problems. They are rockets after all

I feel it's important that we share this information so that others who are winning it suddenly don't waste their resources like I'm about to do upgrading it.
I have noticed that when War Robots allows me to win a meta-class weapon. It means that they're about to nerf it.

2x Titan anti-controls (for health, or you can go with plated armour kits)
And as for the weapons, flamethrowers
What used to make Arthur so effective back in the days was it’s health + shields. It got nerfed really (rebalanced) and lost a ton of its hp while getting more health on shields when luchador was about to arrive in the live server. Some say it was a rebalance as said by pixonic but I think it’s more of a nerf to make it irrelevant against luchador. Yes it’s shield got a buff but unlike your robot’s health, you can’t regenerate your shield’s health back. I think this can bring it back with the modules that gives it more health, seemingly bringing it back in it’s prime kinda? And making it more tanky thanks to the amps. Oh and avalon battleship please!

I was actually messing around with a crazy Arthur build recently which was doing very well but this was prior to flamethrowers. I might need to try that build again and test some things.
can you livestream the pathfinder and trying different builds? i want to see the gameplay from you because you actually fight good players unlike the other youtubers its why i like you the most out of any wr youtuber
I'll be live streaming tomorrow and I'll have that in my lineup. Is there any build in particular that interests you? I'll try to remember to include that. Also the reason why I most likely run into stronger players is because the account itself is deep into Champion League.

Ah so this is why pixonic nerfed the blast weapons so much. I mean i literally said the only reason they'd nerf a set of mediocre weapons so hard is because they've got a replacement in the pipeline. Granted I didnt think theyd come this soon.
Not sure what you mean by the blast weapons? Just an FYI, if they nerf these weapons now then I think they need to nerf Decay. Why? Because I think Decay performs way better - has the same range and a 3 second reload time.

Yep. I actually found the Decay build far deadlier. I noticed too it seemed like my rockets sometimes missed players in flight. I'm not sure if it was just me or maybe it's designed that way?

Actually Decay I would say are far deadlier. I think if these get nerfed then Decay definitely needs to be nerfed. If you haven't checked out my live stream from yesterday when I compared the new Morana weapons (ice rockets) to Blight then I highly recommend it. Basically my Daredevil Dagon with Morana using Nuclear Amplifier and two Overdrives (complete damage build) performed worse than the Daredevil Blight with just Nuclear Amplifier (minus the two Overdrives which means it had 50% less damage boosts).

could you tell pixonic to remove the robot components from the datapads so you can get the objects more easily without having to spend €800,€900,€1000??
It's absurd to have to find pathfinder and still have to receive components and other things that have nothing to do with this puppet example, what do we do with more Dagon components???
stop new robots should be easily available by spending little and opening a certain number of tatapads without going further and further each time always getting worse with this aspect..

Why not unnerf the skaldi, hel, and snare so they can compete with the new ice rockets? These weapons remind me to much like the old freeze weapons. Same overpowered crap ruining the game. I went against a Pathfinder and I couldn't even scratch its paint. However he killed 5 of my robots before I ended him with my luchador . But then he spawned a bedwetter with flames and no skilled the rest of the match. 3 Titans couldn't damage it. Nice video. These weapons will only cost 1 liver and 3 kidneys. And the low low price of 1000 Dollars. Then you have to pay more to upgrade it.
Not sure if I would say it's "overpowered" in that sense. When I ran the Hel after the recent buff I think I was killing players probably just as quick but the reload is definitely longer with those weapons. When you compare these weapons to say the Decay I think the Decay is stronger. Not only do Decays fire faster but they have a shorter cooldown time - the multiple buffs to these weapons still don't make sense to me. Imagine the Crisis Decay being used with Pathfinder on the field lol…
