THe verification is to prevent leaks from happening. If you had cool stuff planned that wasn't ready to be seen by the public yet, would you want one of your playtesters to leak the build and share it across the web publicly?
No, judging purely by the hud which has a non-functional (which it is non-functional in the same way as in demo 1) heat meter but with the new hud layout it is likely this dates to about April 2021
