Wait till your coach has you add a crossed leg push, it's where the fun begins. 😂I'm usually so terrified with the gained speed I literally start praying silently. Great job, Jen! You have determination, and confidence will come with time. I'll be celebrating 1 year of my skating journey this Sunday. And the fact that has never ceased to amuse me is that at the age of 44 I'm one of the youngest adult skaters in my place.
Congrats on your 1 year skating anniversary! 🎉 I'm hoping I'll still be skating too when I'm 44, haha. My coach already told me we're working towards adding the push to the Crossovers soon, and has me doing Curtsy Lunges off-ice to prepare for that movement 😅
Thank you for your videos! I'm also a beginner in my 40s and I'm just approaching the point you were when you made this. I never see anyone who matches my age/level on UA-cam. You are goals!
Thanks for watching! I decided to create this channel because I didn't see anyone my age learning how to skate on UA-cam either! I know they exist, haha! 😆
Great job. I had my first figure skating class two weeks ago after a 45 year break. I’m 58 and always wanted to go back on ice. It was difficult but I won’t give up.
I started figure skating when I was around 8 and obviously have made years of progress since then (I’m 15) but the sharpest skills come from determination and willpower and you have that. Keep working on your spins and, they look great and you have the right position, but I would suggest bringing your feet a little bit closer together. ❤❤
Все это и именно в таком виде мы делали в первый месяц обучения, а у Вас уже 13 месяцев с начала занятий. Где прогресс?) А руки на перебежках по прежнему висят....

Thanks for watching! That's amazing you're skating again after a long break... I love seeing other adults skate! ☺
