I really enjoyed your tips on having a stress free cruise!!! I met a couple in 2003, on my very first cruise, we all still stay in touch as well!!! Thanks for sharing 😎🛳️🛳️
That’s a hot tip regarding the Cheers cruise cup with the chip under it for filling with water, tea, juices, soft drinks. The trick will be for me not to leave it sitting somewhere though. 😂
Pro tip. Those of us who live close to a cruise port, for us it's Galveston, drive in the day of the cruise. However, ALWAYS check road conditions as there's often construction that can make what would typically be an hour drive..4 hours. Happy Cruising!
@carol242 on the ship you might be fine. Going long distances and just getting off the ship is a distance. You won't enjoy it as much if you are limited in range. I say don't feel ashamed get those wheels and enjoy!
@@carol242 I understand. But you are also paying for your vacation and part of that is enjoying the ports. If you have any difficulties walking you should get the scooter. That is what they are there for :)
No, because he is over 18. But please double check with your cruise line. I know with Royal at 20, he just needs his passport or Birth Certificate/Photo ID If you're leaving and returning in the US.
You need to figure out what you drink daily. Bottle Water, specialty coffee, milkshakes, sodas, alcohol .. it’s all included in a deluxe drink package for RCC. It’s not hard to make it worth it.

This is great. I will be going on my first cruise in January. Great info to plan ahead
Ohh how fun!! Glad I could help. Which ship?
@@CruiseSavvy I’ll be on Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the seas. 🥰😌
Enjoy! The crew is amazing on that ship.
@@CruiseSavvy yay! I’m excited thank you 🥰💕
You are a very encouraging person!!! You’re helping calm my nerves.
Oh thank you! You have nothing to be nervous about! 🛳️🩵

🤣 you only need that cup for the free standing soda machines. You can get water, tea and juice without the special cup. 😃

Absolutely!!💯
Thanks for the tips. One correction - not all cruise lines allow you to check in 45 days before. Some are around 14 days before cruise day.
Perfect thx!
I'm always worried that there is not much for me to do at locations because I use a cane to walk and it causes me to be limited in what I can do.
Have you considered renting a scooter?
@@CruiseSavvy No, I feel those are for others who are worse off than I am.

Shelly, Thank you!

My son is 20, different last name than mine, my ta recommended having a notarized letter. Is that necessary? Thanks

@CruiseSavvy ok thank you
If you don’t drink seven drinks today is it worth to get the drink package

Also depends on which cruise line. Some packages include things besides just drinks. Can definitely make it worth it.
