Thank you so much my darling . I love your patience & teaching . I am a 66 yr olde , embarking on a new journey . Can’t wait to start . Love and blessings
Hello, a few of the other tutorials on youtube put all the felt down and then do one wetting session at the very end, rather than doing felt, water, felt water like you have done. Is there much of a difference between the two methods?
The specific wool that I am using is called Corriedale fleece. Purchased from Winterwood Toys (Australia) www.winterwoodtoys.com.au/corriedale-wool-fleece-50g You could use any coloured wool roving or tops. Wool roving is easier to felt because it is coarser.
Hi, thanks for watching. I'm sorry but I really can't remember exactly how long, but I'm sure it was upwards of an hour. There were are few times in the video where I said "I'll just go felt this for another.... minutes" I edited out the longer stretches of just me felting because I'm sure that would be a very boring video to watch! It would be good to felt your work until it can hold up to a pinch test. I show how to do this around 21 minutes in. To get to this point, it's probably about an hour.
