It’s okay!” said Mike as he gives Will a gentle, warm smile of his, making Will feels warm inside. “R-right..” said Will as he sit up, trying to forget what had happened. “As Mike sit up, he wanted to ask Will why he passed out yesterday. Mike hesitate but still worry for the unknown creature. “Are you alright? You passed out yesterday.. did something happened?” said Mike as he look at Will. Will remembered something, but can’t quite get the picture in his memory. “It’s… It’s nothing, really.” said Will as he put his arm on his shoulder. Mike looks at him, knowing that Will was scared and hungry. So he decided to get some food for both of them. “I’m going to get some food, you stay here and wait. Alright?” said Mike, feeling like he’s saying this to a pet. Kinda feeling stupid but rushed upstairs anyways. 10 minutes later “Will! I got you some food! Here, eat it. It’s a cookie, but I’m sure you know.” said Mike as he hands out the cookies to Will. Will grabs it and tries to taste one. As Will took a bite of the cookies, he had never taste these kinds that are very sweet and tasty. “Thank you, Mike.” said Will as he have a mouthful of cookies. “Haha, no problem! Now… I’m going to call Lucas. See if he wants to see a new friend that I made.” said Mike as he tries to find his walkie talkie. As he grab the pillow, he saw his walkie talkie and take it. “Lucas. Lucas, are you there? Do you copy?” said Mike, but there was no answer. “Lucas, come on. Do. You. Copy?” said Mike. “Ugh, what do you want, Mike?? Over.” said Lucas on the walkie talkie. Get Dustin while you’re at it! Over and out!” said Mike as he shut off his walkie talkie. Will look at Mike, wondering who was he talking to, even after Mike said his name so many times. “Who was he?” said Will, curious about Mike’s friends. “Oh, that was Lucas. He’s my best friend! And I have another best friend. His name is Dustin.” said Mike excitedly. “Dus… tin?” said Will as he tilt his head to the left, feeling like that’s a funny name. “Yeah. He’s a big fan of DND, same as us and he really love to make and hear conspiracy theories.” said Mike. “Hm, I see..” said Will, feeling unsure for some reason. “Hey, Will. Do you mind if my best friends meet you today? I mean, if you don’t want to. That’s alright, I won’t force you.” said Mike as he smiled at Will. Will feels a little guilty after all the kindness and hospitality Mike gave him. He decided not to say no and agrees. But if they did… I would beat their asses up and make sure they apologize to you!!” said Mike, playfully angry. They both chuckled. I guarantee that they will treat you like you’re one of our own!” said Mike as he puts his hand on Will’s hand on the shoulder. “… Right, thank you Mike.” said Will as he smiled at him. *Ding Dong* “Oh, I guess that’s Lucas and Dustin. Wait right here, I’ll be right back!” said Mike as he rushed to upstairs. Will feeling a bit uneasy being alone, even after isolated in the lab. He tries to forget what that doctor did to him, making him have goosebumps as he’s thinking about it. A sound of footsteps from the upstairs, as if someone is about to get down soon. Will prepared just in case it’s an attack. The door opened, “Will, my friends are here! Come and let’s me them!” said Mike as he look at Will, seeing him in a guarded position. “Hey, is everything okay?” said Mike as he goes towards Will, putting his hand on Will’s shoulder. “Yeah, yeah sorry. Let’s go..” said Will. Mike knowing that he isn’t doing well but still decided to show Will to his friends anyways. As they went upstairs, they went towards Dustin and Lucas. “So? Show your new friend.” said Lucas. “Alright, Will.. it’s okay, take your time.” said Mike as he looks at Will. Will was hesitating for a while but tries to show himself to Mike’s friends.
