- im so exhausted lol ive been working on this for the past 13 hours (minus like an hour combined to eat 2 meals)
i, apparently, wasn't able to finish just the cues in HS until last night, meaning i did all of the coloring today, and since i was using a version of HS that doesn't have copy + paste bc of course i was, that took forever lol
additionally, all of the color entities i added meant HS lagged like crazy when i tried to play it back, which led to a few problems:
1. i had to record the remix at 50% speed and speed it back up 200% in editing, which meant a good number of the BG flashes i made ended up being completely phased out due to like, frame skipping and stuff idk lol
2. there was no way to get good audio straight from HS bc it would either lag or sound awful sped up, so i had to recreate the whole custom game in RHRE to get audio to put behind the video, which is why this is coming out an hour after midnight, being the lastest in the "week" i've ever uploaded (it still counts as weekly uploading if it's before i go to sleep friday night, that's the new rule)
ok, that's all the negative stuff out of the way. despite some of the BG flashes not looking as good as i wanted to, a lot of the cool and more important effects are completely intact, which is nice
my favorites are def 1:51 and 2:18 :)))
and also, i should mention all of these problems were 100% me placing thousands (yes, thousands) of entities to try and make it look all flashy, there's nothing wrong with the program itself and i'm not trying to trash it or anything lol. it's very fun to use, especially to mess around with and make a whole bunch of crazy stuff happen, and it's honestly a very very impressive project! huge props to everyone working on it :) if you thought what you saw in this video was cool go download it!!!!!
oh yeah, i was gonna tell the backstory for why i even made this in the first place. basically on my vacation last week i played a looooot of beat saber, and i just absolutely fell in love with this song. at this point im kinda tired of listening to it lol, but i'm sure i'll be back to loving it soon enough. anyway idk why but i thought a call-and-response game would go great solo over this song, and i mean i was kinda right, but then i also took it as an opportunity to try out heaven studio for the first time too!
i was gonna make a better thumbnail and i still might later but its 1 am now lol ive put enough time into this video today

There is a copy and paste tool in the more recent versions of heaven studio. It works the same as rhre (if i remember correctly)
