It annoys me when I have to do a speech in English (I go to an English school) and I get an "okay" grade because my teacher is annoyed that I do it but I don't I just can't do it. Eeeee

Yes, I appreciate the Japanese voice going with a higher voice as opposed to a stereotypical deep voice for Russia, but Jewell still keeps the levity in his light baritone similar to his Japanese counterpart.
What if they have made the voice of Russia in japanese this high but in fact they just didn't angered Russia enough in Hetalia for him to show off his true voice that may be probably the deepest and scariest of the anime?...

These two voice actors voice the same roles for at least two animes XD. PRINCIPAL NEZU IS RUSSIA CONFIRMED.
Hetalia is one of the few shows where I completely prefer the English dub more. You can easily distinguish all the accents when they talk in english. Plus, sometimes when I watch the show I say "Oh wait, I've heard that accent before, I didn't know it was Norwegian" or something along those lines.

I perfer the English dub with shows like these. It really showcases the accents each country has, in Japanese you can't really do that. Plus it makes the whole stereotype thing even funnier (the jokes are also more funny to me in the English dub but after all, this is all just my opinion).

There’s room for the accent and little bilingual interjections such as “da.” I notice a lot with Japanese that straying too far from the traditional Japanese language rules and pronunciations can sometimes make a sentence sound strange, not make sense, or just be hard to understand what words they are saying. 😅 (Although the Japanese voice actor does a good job, his voice is sO. F$CKING. CUTE.)
