Hello, I am Peter's mother, the NZ Grandma from the video and have enjoyed watching this many times. Thankyou to the team from Hakka TV who spent time with us to create the programme. I am able to now read the English translation and am very moved by so many wonderful comments, many thanks to you all. We have missed our six monthly visits due to the Covid pandemic and am so grateful we can keep in touch by Skype. I can watch my granddaughter growing up, practice on her piano, do her homework and I can interact with her from NZ. I have loved my trips to Taiwan, enjoyed the friendliness of the people, yummy food amazing scenery and family trips we've had and hope to be back again sometime.

我是在紐西蘭長大的台灣人。畢業之後離開紐西蘭回台灣工作，結果2年前又帶著老公小孩回到紐西蘭。其實也只是想要讓小孩不要每天功課，可以更快樂的成長。我想，在台灣也是做的到，只是怎麼選擇生活的方式而已。東勢看起來是個好地方，有機會回台灣都想去走走看看了呢。

客家小炒~是我喜歡的一道菜👍，過年也會炒~做法：乾魷魚（用水泡發）、豆干、三層豬肉、芹菜、蔥段~炒豬肉煸炒出油~肉變略帶金黃（盛出鍋），炒魷魚（炒香盛出鍋），炒豆干（炒香）+魷魚、豬肉、蔥段一起炒香+醬油~嗆出香味加入芹菜炒熟就可以吃了（我住卓蘭~與東勢比鄰的城鎮）。
