Max aim Holobot officers are unreal. I love them. It's late ish in the campaign, but if you bring them along as a scout/dedicated sniper until they are ready for lead by example training, it's definitely doable. I'd love to see you try another snapshot build and this is the ideal candidate for it. My favourite is to use them as an alternate/backup scout for if concealment is blown - or use phantom to get good positioning for 2nd group activation. My fave is: Snapshot Phantom *Lone wolf* ! Reposition Deadeye Disabling shot Double-tap ...this soldier could also be an awesome DFA sharpshooter, but seeing as you've already got 3 others, I think the extra utility might be useful in squad composition (especially considering the absence of modded classes in this vanilla campaign) Reason for Lone Wolf is Precision Shot doesn't (or used to) not work with snapshot, the extra aim compensates for the lack of consistent steady weapon, and some defense to not get shot at is great. Sharpshooters are glass cannons
quick Q.: the explody barrels do not have hit points? is this vanilla Lwotc? I am asking, because i just had a "hack ADVENT train" mission and there the explody barrels (the train itself) had hitpoints. Is this normal? Or do grenades not count and blow it always up?
Hi Ava, I don't know if you remember but I asked about the killing force level ufos campaign several videos ago. I'm 5 streams deep 😅 Question, in modern LW 1.2, is a zero % infiltration supply raid even possible? What would be the challenges? I can't find any info anywhere.
My vote is for the Snapshot sniper just for variety's sake, but I admit in 1.2 my own dabbling with them has felt underwhelming. Then again, I don't quite know how to best use them so that's likely on me as well. I'm glad you decided to go with the Technical on that Supply Raid. Lots of shooty guys can be effective, but when you run into that 8-man Advent pod, plus another Pod decides to wander in, you absolutely need some AOE and control for a turn or two.
I have a weird bug, where all my shot percentage show as 0% in the main view, but the breakdown to the left of the soldier skills shows the correct details. Does anyone have any ideas?
Yupp. This is a frustrating consequence of a common mod setting that I think was initially a joke? I can't remember exactly which mod it is, but the setting you're looking to toggle in the mod config menu is the "aim assist" one.
Hi, just started replaying xcom2 with lwotc. Love your videos, they are a great resource.
Glad to hear!

Ava: *gets gifted the perfect snapshot sharpshooter perks*
Also Ava: "Is this a Holobot?"

@@Jenivieve-l3f Huh, a phantom snappie is an interesting idea...
You'd think Advent would learn to not take cover behind the explodey barrels...
Their obedience makes them predictable. Or so I heard

The trains definitely do. The barrels don't.

Honestly can’t believe you haven’t gotten a single rendezvous mission with how many rebels you have in both havens
Excellent strategy as always , Commander

That should be a snap shot sharpshooter

Turn off aim assist in Extended Info settings in MCM, I think.
