I wasted so much time trying to comprehend articles on google when i couldve just watched this video and understood the difference in seconds lol. Great explanation you made it make perfect sense as well as making it easy to learn.
in fact here is simple: Absolute mode G90 : dimensions (coordinates) are refereced by origin Incremental mode G91: dimensions (coordinates) are relative by last position.

Everything is clear in three words. Thanks.
Wow so weird I was just about to do a refresher on this cool thank you!
Thumbs up , the best explanation.
great explanation mate thumbs up from me
why x-90 on the last order in INC ? is it a safety measure due to G41/G42 cutter compensation?
in fact here is simple:
Absolute mode G90 : dimensions (coordinates) are refereced by origin
Incremental mode G91: dimensions (coordinates) are relative by last position.
I tried using a safe startup line and using G91 to shift the spindle of of the previous center, nothing happened, vs G0G54G90 X0Y0
Isn't it by default absolute? Is it necessary to give G90 if we want to keep it absolute?
that was lovely thank you
Thanx
