- Rickie Fowler LIV Golf money and PGA Tour defection to LIV Golf rumors are absolute nonsense, here's why.
You've probably seen a piece of content that says Rickie Fowler is the next PGA Tour player to leave the PGA Tour for LIV Golf, back here on planet Earth, it's very unlikely there's any validity to those rumors at all.

Good stuff
Ricky will be a part of LIV before long. It’s his last chance at huge money.
@Deep Rough podcast, appreciate you weighing in constructively, it means a lot!
Joaquin was in that meeting……
But Joaquin didn't fly in a private jet with Tiger Woods, the biggest critic of LIV Golf, to the meeting nor drive over to the meeting together in the same car as Rickie and Tiger did ☺️. I hear your point of attending the meeting does not preclude a player from jumping ship to LIV, Rickie simply put more on the line for himself and his character amongst his peers with the specific nature of how he got to the meeting.
@@creasergolf Bubba went LIV….Rickie and Bubba used to be BFFs…..
Everyone has there number . RF is no different. Let's be honest 8 top 100 will go to LIV in next 6 weeks ..will one be RF , let's wait n see
@Kevin 14 , appreciate you weighing in and stopping by the channel. One angle to further explore is Rickie, perhaps more than any other golfer (since Greg Norman, ha!), has created an endorsement deal empire around him - the motivation to go to LIV, if he was to pull that trigger, is fundamentally different than with _most_ other PGA Tour players.
@@creasergolf very valid point regards Ricky's portfolio. He has done very well out of his brand rather than his skill. There are lots of reasons he was seen as going to LIV but I think Puma is the biggest reason . Maybe they now see him as more valuable to them on PGAT . I'm not sure why he hasn't signed but Puma and Addidas are major backers of LIV Imo. Regards the Tiger episode ,that was stage managed . Yes tiger wanted to show he had rescued Ricky from LIV but Ricky was also perhaps playing a game with LIV for more money . The reasons why players like Hideki Adam Scott Cantlay Ricky etc haven't signed yet are numerous but none cannot be overcome by cash . Only Tiger or Rory are perhaps unbuyable but then they have the most fingers in the most pies and biggest bank balance. What this whole episode has done is to show how fragile and potentially short players earning capacity is . Injury , age and simply loosing your game can make you almost forgotten withing 1-2 years. LIV is full of champions from the last 5-6 years infact 15 months ago but now they washed up apparently such is the media bias. Golf is so physical now its becoming a young gun game . LIV is a bigger attraction than enough give it credit .
I’m sure he would be considering it. He is being offered twice his net worth.
@Robert Hooles, appreciate you weighing in, and stopping by the channel! Agree, can't fault anyone for looking at such an offer if it's on the table. I think Rickie has a window to see an offer in that $85M range before it goes down given the further build out of LIV Golf franchises to the point of being over-capacity. I still say Rickie is not going to leave the PGA Tour.
$85 MIL NOT WORTH IT I THINK RICKY IS PLAYING WITH IT, NOT EVEN IN THE TOP 1OO RANKIN.G
Let’s be real... Money talks... and golfers walk!
Nothing anyone says or does matters! I guarantee there are many who have already signed for next year/ deep in discussions to switch to LIV golf.
If you think LIV has fired all its best shots... you’re kidding. Being Aussie, all I’ve ever heard about Greg Norman is that he is one cunning businessman and absolutely ruthless!
This first invitational season was nothing more than a warm up!
