After Hours at Magic Kingdom: Can You Ride Everything in 6 Hours? (2024 Edition)

- We're sharing our best tips for making the most of After Hours at Magic Kingdom and seeing what's new for 2024. For the first time ever, guests at this specially ticketed Disney World event can ride TRON Lightcycle/Run without having to book a Virtual Boarding Group - and they can ride as many times as they want! Plus, you can see two different fireworks shows in one night. And did we mention that the lines for most attractions are non-existent? Add in popcorn, sodas and frozen treats at no extra charge and you've got a fun-filled night at the most magical place on Earth!
I watched a lot of your tips and tricks videos leading up to our Disney Vacation and we were there this same night! Too bad I didn't run into you to thank you in person, but your videos helped my family have an amazing time at Disney World. Thanks for everything you do!

We did MK After Hours last year and it was such a great way to get all the rides done during a very busy week! I love Disney World, but large crowds can be very over stimulating for me sometimes. Being there for AH and the low crowds was amazing! Worth every penny!

My daughter wanted to do the Peoplemover all day but we were busy with other rides and shows until right before park closing so me and my daughter, 6 yo, walked over by ourselves and rode it. I'll never forget how happy it made her. We will do it that way every time we go

We just did the after hours for magic kingdom last week and it was amazing!!! It was so busy last week. We got amazing pics. It definitely made for a very long day since we were there during the day that day as well but it was well worth it!

@@EarScouts it was about the same as your video especially after 10:30. There were little to no waits. For perspective, I think we waited maybe 10 minutes for tron and seven dwarfs mine train. Everything else was literally a walk on and they were like do you want to stay on and ride again. It was worth the price tag for sure!
Your After Hours video for MK last year convinced us to try it for the very first time last week, and we had an absolute blast!! Very similar itinerary and experience as yours in this video. One thing we had to add was food when we first got there at 7pm....we had been in AK all day and didn't want to waste park time there with eating dinner (it was our first trip there!), so we hopped on the bus to MK (yea for dropoff at front door:)) and grabbed a very quick bite at Cosmic Ray's b4 hitting the rides. Love your channel!!!

Rode people mover TWICE last week at the after hours event. One of my favorites.
Oooo. I never thought of doing Big Thunder during the fireworks. I timed it out so I was on 7DMT once during Happily Ever After and finished watching from behind the castle (also highly recommended). And yes, PeopleMover 100%!
Mine Train is great, too. I like that you get more outdoor time on Big Thunder to see more of the fireworks. I also just love how they line up behind the mountain as you go up that big ascent. Go Team PeopleMover! ✊ 😂

And, during that conversation we also decided that an "After Hours" event will be included. So, this video was very timely, and is in my saved list. One question, is the purchase of a regular day pass required before one can purchase an After Hours pass?

This convinced me to purchase tickets and I was feeling great about my decision. Until, I did a little more research and found out that if the event is sold out (Spring Break) expect it to be packed with waits of approximately 1 hour or more for rides.
I’m so disappointed.
I like going to People mover before and after the show. Don't advise going if you have a LL like me. It stopped three times and the park closed before I was able to go to my LL😂😂

I had no free days to go on After hours but I had to do it since I love Enchantment. I will go on HS in the morning and after hours at night. A way to see it again. Last year I saw HEA and it did not touched me like Enhantment which I saw twice in 2022.

Go Team PeopleMover! 🙌 I think for me, it is because when we moved to Orlando, it was right after the 50th Celebration started, so that was the show we saw every night and we fell in love with it. Same with Harmonious at Epcot. I don’t know if anything will ever beat those shows for us because we have so many memories tied to them now. I actually think that is the reason most people prefer HEA - because of their memories that are tied to that show. 🙂

Enchantment > HEA. Wondering if you can hang out and catch the 11pm fireworks as a day guest 🤷🏻♂️
They ask all day guests to leave, unfortunately. If you stayed in the hub, you would risk getting trespassed from the park, so I would not recommend it. I'd recommend watching from one of the nearby resorts, though. It's not the same, but at least you would get part of the experience.
Any chance that they might extend MK After Hours dates in July? This is the one that I'm really excited for.
Hello! They’ve added more dates, so you never know. As of now, the last date is June 27. Hopefully they’ll add a few more. 🤞
Is after hours only available to deluxe resort guests? Or can you buy an after hour ticket if staying on a Disney resort other than deluxe resorts?
I’m not staying at a Deluxe Resort and we bought tickets to MK and Epcot After Hours. Hope that helps.

Going to the after dark at mk in 24 days
I don’t think Tron is worth the wait even at 30 minutes. We waited almost an hour back in August in the virtual queue. One and done for me. Would rather do Space Mountain.
I definitely wish TRON was about a minute longer. For me, I enjoy it if the wait is 30 minutes or less, but Erick definitely agrees with you on this one. He enjoys it as a walk-on, but not much more than that. 😅
Yea my wife and I were disappointed with Tron. It's fun but way too quick for the wait time and locker hassle
