This was so inspiring. I literally shed a tear lmao! I’m a biochemistry graduate applying to medicine and I’m really glad I clicked on this video. I completely agree with everything both of you said about not giving up and having gratitude.. Thank you Kenji and Atousa xx
I am so inspired by Kenji's story and impressed that he is Kenyan. I was an EMT in Kenya and i understand what he says by people not having access to medical help.
yo bro. im trying to get into medicine, but my teachers are not giving me the predicted grades, do you recon i can get into biomedicine at UCL/kings, for the first year, and be in the top 10% than get into medicine ? is this possible ? instead of doing the whole 3 years course
This guy is so amazing and inspiring. I am currently doing biomedicine hoping to go to medicine in the future with the same intentions of why I want to become a doctor!!!!!!
Yay kenji you gained a subscriber! Im currently going to start my 3rd year biomedical science at MDX and both your videos are helping me decide what i want to do :) 💕
My goal is to become a competent Biomedical Engineer so that I partake in the maintenance of dialysis machines, however seeing that engineering mathematics is a key element in the courses, I feel that such a goal is unlikely due to my level of mathematical knowledge. It's truly disheartening.
Don't lose hope! your level of mathematical knowledge may not be great right now, but the whole point of studying is to get improve and become better. Secondly, there are always multiple paths to achieving the same goal, so don't feel disheartened my friend, if there is a will, there is a way! :)
If you study three years in biomedical science and have decided to do medicine, do we have to start from all over again or you're gonna do your fourth year ?!
Tbh I’ve always been insecure about how all the other people taking medicine behave very differently (before they start the course) and they just have a completely vibe from me. I got rejected by all the med skls I applied to and I was stuck with biomed science
I’m doing medical science and I will be going into second year in September. I know this may sound stupid but as I finish in 21’ will I apply for post grad in 21’ as well to start then or would it be applying for 22’?
You can do both. You can apply during 3rd yr for the October 2020 deadline for September 2021 entry. Or take a year break and apply during October 2021 for 2022 entry.
Do a levels matter with postgrad med? if i apply to unis which do not specify A level requirements for postgrad med. I did badly in my a levels but aiming for a 2:1 or 1st with my biomed degree (IBMS accredited)
Hey, I'm a year 12 student currently in the process of applying to uni. I want to apply for biomed and then postgrad entry to medicine. If I don't go to a mussel group or a good ranked uni for biomed will this hurt my chances of getting in?
Hi Atousa I hope that you are well. I have been watching your videos and I find it really inspirational. I am going to start a master's degree in Biomedical science in this September. I would like to ask you for some advice. I also sent you an invitation to Linkedin. Kind Regards, Romine Semedo

My daughter is interested in biomed, but she dont know the future of this option please elaborate.

So long as you have a 2:1 (or above) you should be fine
Sorry plz how many years...are u for medicine....after your. Biomedical
4-6 years depending on the course you apply to and where.
So how many years of medicine is he doing?
It depends on how long the medicine is for example at university of Australia medicine is 4 years so if u have a biomed degree cut down two years.
He's doing 5 years
Did he have to start bachelor to get to Medecine? Someone answer please.
What are the science course you can take that would lead you to medical school
I did A-levels in the UK in biology, chemistry and maths
please do a video about CV writing :)
M trying to shift to Canada by PR and a sponsor by my husband
