- In this video I show you how to create beautiful holiday cards using whatever you have in your stash.
For the first video on our holiday series, we are using squares and rectangles to jumpstart our creativity. Keep in mind that you could also use any of these 4 ideas for birthday cards. My dad's birthday is on the 23rd of December so a birthday card with a Christmas vibe also works very well.
As always, I share lots of card making tips, tricks and hacks along the way to make your creative experience a piece of cake.

I found your channel too, Tati. I love the way you did the tartan, it looked like the real thing. Years ago my friend asked me to make the Scottish granddad from one of Jean Greenhowe's patterns. I had to copy the kilt from a tartan scarf and had to graph it all out. It worked though. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos, Ruth down under.

For the gate card you can do the ribbon like you did the bow. Cut the ribbon to be as wide as you want, but instead of cutting it in half lengthwise you glue only half of the ribbon lengthwise.
