    So what you should do is put a heating pad underneath your incubator set it on medium and you won't believe your eggs that hatch like every single egg that is fertile will hatch it helps maintain the temperature set the heating pad at medium

    You should look for a nice paint to paint it that's good for plastic that'll help you preserve that

    You can paint them to make them easier to clean.

      @@muckersfarm Your welcome.
      Use brush on. Spray paint can melt styrofoam.✌

    Mine is blinking red for the whole time what do we do?

    • @muckersfarm
      @muckersfarm  3 роки тому

      Is it maintaining temperature? Its normal for the heating element to turn on then off then right back on again. The temperature in the room plays a big part on how often the turn on. If it is not getting up to temperature at all and the light is blinking unplug the unit and check the connections for the display unit and the heating core then try it again.

    How is it still working?? Any problems or anything?

      I have no regrets on this incubator. Its reliable and easy to use. We are now 100% off grid and it works just as well as it did with conventional power.

      @@muckersfarm that sounds amazing. Just unsure on the issue with the temperature though. Is it stable and I wonder if it’ll have trouble in a colder climate since our heater isn’t the best?

      @@westlee1626 temperature has not been an issue. We use wood heat and temperature in the house is ever changing. The incubator has been able to compensate for with. Im sure it's hard on it and I may not get as long of a life out of it as someone with climate controlled home.

    How do you adjust the temperature?

    • @muckersfarm
      @muckersfarm  4 роки тому

      Temperature can be adjusted with a plus and minus buttons that are located just below the digital display

    • @jimallen1176
      @jimallen1176 4 роки тому

      I figured it out within a few minutes of playing with it. Initially, I had to hold the plus or minus down a couple seconds, then it will adjust. Thanks

      Enjoyed your video. We just purchased the 1588 and are fixing to inbox it. This is our first incubator purchase and also the first time we are hatching on our channel. Have had a friend incubate in the past for us. Just so you know... we watched several videos about the 1588 and really liked yours the best - due to explanations and ‘watchability’. Really loved the divider to hatch multiple egg types. Curious to see how well it all worked. Going to get ours set up and will come back to check out your channel some more.

      @@3CreekFarms we have had a few incubator and this one is by far my favorite. We have used it since we have been on the farm and works great on a 12 volt system. The only thing is we have to limit its use to summer time when we have more energy production.

      Muckers Farm I haven’t looked it up yet but assuming there is a special plug in for the truck to power it? Is that a GQF part? The 12v ‘option’ is one of the things that attracted us.
