hey rose! Just finished watching this podcast. I’ve been watching your videos since you were a small youtuber (on my other account) and it’s crazy to see how far you have come. Your videos are very comforting and never get boring. I’m starting a youtube channel (it’s still in the making) and this video has really helped me. It’s honestly really nice of you to give others your tips on how to start a successful youtube channel. Thank you so much, great video 💗

I hope that people who are interested in content creating see this video. It's very helpful and eye opening, and I loved listening to some of your takes on certain topics! I adore the community you've created, it truly feels like a safe space. Putting yourself out there is tough because no one wants to receive hate. But you can't control what other people say/how they perceive you. It's important to remember to do what you love and focus on the good rather than the bad. I hope you have a good day Koko!

you talk abut being unique, but most sso channels have major Violet Flowergarden vibe, to the point of speaking in the same manner, editing, font on the preview etc. Also every one has the "my OC girl with horse" art as their profile/acount picture. Not to mention the most regular videos are "train with me", "buying horses" that almost everyone do. It's not a bad thing and thats why I watch you and some other girls, but theres little of being unique.

It seems like you're fearmongering yourself into believing that anything that isn't overly friendly is a hate comment or negative. At least that's how it came off in many instances. In which case can be detrimental to your growth as nobody is perfect and people need criticism to do better. Humans are not as black and white as they seem, there isn't just good and bad but neutral too. If you shut out anything that isn't overly positive then you could be shutting out a big chunk of your audience that wants to see you succeed (like myself).
Its like having the idea to jump from a building and fly into the sunset. One of your friends is always supper supportive and positive and tells you to go get em! Whilst your other friend tells you to rethink your choices and explain how that can end badly. While its great to have someone that supports you in all your endeavors its even better at times to have someone that is willing to tell you what they see is wrong with what you're about to do despite how you'll react. The second friend could be wrong or could be right (that's up to you to decide) but at the end of the day the context behind what and why they're saying it is more important than tip toeing around you, being outright overly friendly, or how many other people agree with them.
I would stream and occasionally I would ask everyone if my mic quality was ok and everyone would tell me my mic audio was fine. It took almost two weeks before someone told me my mic audio was not great and you know what? I checked over another device (which I knew had great sound quality) and sure enough the audio wasn't fine. People were saying it was fine because they were afraid to tell me or just didn't care. This isn't always the case but sometimes there isn't malice intended. Again you just have to determine based on context not friendliness or how many people agree with them. History for one has proven that just because a lot of people agree with you doesn't make you a good person or even well intentioned and vis versa.
of course not including anything abhorrently rude.

Huh that's an interesting take. I'm not easily offended, and I have already learned so much from constructive feedback I have received from viewers, as I said in the video. By hate comments, i was referring to actual hate comments (for example: "rose, you are ugly and your videos are terrible"). As far as comments that are not overly positive, I could care less. People can say what they want and I will learn from what is helpful and let go of what is not. Don't even worry, I shall continue to learn and grow as a person, as I have always strived to do. Perhaps you misunderstood my points in the video. Regardless, glad you enjoy the channel and thanks for the support!🤎

The main thing I wish I could tell my past self to avoid is the stupidly long intros of just yapping. 10 seconds maximum introduce the video and go. Videos dont get promoted really if within the first 30 seconds people click off. Plus, its boring. I cant watch my old videos, I dont know how others do
