I heard NHØP for the first in Copenhagen (I'm a norwegian jazz fan 75yrs old) way back in 1964! He was very young then, approx 16-18yrs? playing with among others Kenny Drew, Dexter Gordon and other GREATS. He was at that time "famous" in Jazz circles in Denmark. Later it is HISTORY!

I listen to this version of the song every once in a while thinking it is really a pitty that this guy will never be known to the main public (they probably wouldn't understand a thing about the skill something like this requires anyway) and just feel sorry for the rest of the world...
