I'm not gonna be reactionary like some arsenal fans and call arteta out. He has us competing again and that's what we wanted. Ask any united chelsea and spurs fan and they would love to be in our position. Realistically city are the best team in the world and we would win any other league if it didn't had man city in it. We have had good games kudos the manager and team but today I just didn't understand reason as to why both partey and Jorginho were benched. Terry, realistically, this season. it has to be either Arsenal or Manchester City. I am saying this because Liverpool is the weakest side of the lot. Liverpool epitomises a dark horse that has re-emerged after a shambolic last campaign. However, they are just not good enough to win the league.

The only thing that a fourth title in a row for City means is that state ownership and the spending/lobbying power that it gives you is too much for fair competition to exist. The occasional (intentional?) slip up can exist by the petrol merchants, and the PL can create the illusion of a title race with ease to keep the hordes happy, but at the end of the day money talks and money wins. The situation in France is worse because the league has become so unattractive from a commercial point of view that nobody has put in a bid for the broadcasting rights, which has in turn allowed Bein Sports(Qatar) to come in as not only the saviors of the league but also the major source of income for the other clubs. So basically French football now belongs to Qatar. Does an Emirates or Saudi owned PL appeal to fans in the UK? Not sure.
