    1. Choose Your Image:
Start with an image in Midjourney, such as a 1024x1024, 72 dpi image. This will be the base for upscaling and enhancing your design.
    2. Upscale in Midjourney:
Use Midjourney's "Upscale" feature. Select "Subtle" to maintain the original look while doubling the size to 2048x2048. Alternatively, choose "Creative" to slightly alter and enhance the image for a unique touch.
    3. Download Original Image:
Save the original image to your hard drive for further upscaling. This ensures you have the base image ready for additional enhancement in Gigapixel.
    4. Use Gigapixel for Higher Quality:
Open Gigapixel and load the original image. Set the resolution to a higher scale, such as 6x, and export the image. This will result in a high-resolution version, significantly increasing the image size from 1.2MB to 51.4MB.
    5. Compare and Apply:
Compare the upscaled images from Midjourney and Gigapixel. Choose the best quality for your needs, whether for T-shirt designs, social media posts, or professional-grade prints. Utilize the high-resolution images to elevate your design projects.
By combining Midjourney's creative upscaling features with Gigapixel's high-resolution enhancements, you can achieve superior quality images quickly and efficiently. Subscribe to the Midjourney Experience newsletter for more tips and transform your design process today!

I don't understand how you are changing the dpi and inches and nothing happens. Isn't a 72dpi 85.333"x85.333" image going to be 524,284 pixels total? But a 300dpi 15"x15" image is going to be only 67,500 pixels total. Does that happen after you save it or export it?
I need a series of 300dpi 8.5"x8.5" images which I'm thinking is any square image that has 21,675 pixels. Is that not the correct way to think about it? Thanks!

I'm finding using Upscale in Midjourney can take between 5 and 20 minutes to even start, just sits in a queue.. and I have a paid account. Not great for any kind of workflow..

We use the top plan, and upscaling takes a minute or two. If you aren't going to upscale your plan, get Gigapixel.
