- My skin is so sensitive, it’s always breaking out! Especially when I have box braids! If you’re experiencing discomfort or allergic reactions while wearing synthetic hair it is because of the chemicals the hair has been processed in! Generally you would want to do an ACV rinse BEFORE installing the hair, but as we know things don’t always go as planned. My video will show you how to perform an ACV rinse on already installed hair WITHOUT ruining your hairstyle! I experienced instant relief! No more hives, break outs, or burning scalp!

Agree. I've never had itching problems in 20 years and recently my neck was itching from crochet hair. Never happened before. I had the exact same hair for the past 2 summers and never had this issue.
FACTS
I feel like we need to file a civil suit this is a serious issue. I been getting braid all my life and have never felt like this. There is no warning nothing. We have to stand up together. To stop this I’m so serious there should be at least a major warning us of the chemical

I have been doing and getting braids for many years. Yet I have never had the reaction that I recently has it was so bas I could cry 2 days I tried to hold out but I could not take it 😢

I just did this today! And let me tell you. My scalp feels absolutely amazing!! I will never get my hair braided again without cleaning the hair again.

They way these companies treat synthetic hair nowadays has to be different. I have been able to use braiding and crochet hair up until this year. Now when I put or even touch the hair. I have shortness of breath and I start tingling all over. I will be washing my hair from now on. Thanks so much for this video.
I also recommend peppermint oil and water in a spray bottle with a bit of your favourite conditioner it relives the itching if it’s not wash day and also smells amazing
Thank you for this cause I got faux locs done and I had bumps all over my scalp. I had synthetic hair before but this was the first time this happened. I’m bouta take them out and rinse with acv because some ppl on Reddit said they got alopecia from keeping it in and I’m sooo scared 😭 wishing everyone good luck experiencing this ❤️
I have extremely sensitive skin too. I recently had knotless braids and could not figure out why my face had hives and little break outs all over it. The hair even caused my neck to itch and break out in hives too 😓😩. I will be doing the acv rinse (pre-soaking) before ANY style moving forward.

Try soaking the braids in acv ( the top part that will be touching your scalp) then rinse and leave to air dry before putting the braids in your hair. Soaking it gets rid of the alkaline residue it has been coated in. I do this acv rinse everytime before I put in my braids it helps reduce the itchy feeling.
Tried this yesterday and worked like magic.
I just did this at 1 am!! My head never felt like this before. It’s been a long time since I had my hair braided but I don’t recall this feeling. Praying for my edges!! Trying to save them 🙏🏽I used castor oil on my scalp. May try tea tree oil as well. This video was sooooo helpful! Thank God you posted it!!

I knew about washing the braids in apple cider vinegar before braiding but I didn't do it and my head is on fire I tell you. So, vinegar rinse when I get up. I swear these people wants to kill us by any means, necessary #butGod will not allow them. I tell you, the heart of people is very wivked. I used to braid my hair before and this has never happened. The texture of the braids also change. I will cleanse my girls hair as well today. Thanks family for the reminder.
Thank you for this video. I am about to leave on a trip in 2 days and i was going to take off my braids until i tried this. I got my braids done for about a week and i just couldn’t take it. The big red (gum) feeling. I just did it and my braids are dripping but idc as long as I’m not scratching like crazy !!!! 👏🏽

Thank you! I have had synthetic hair before never had reaction until a few years ago. I thought that if I applied it differently it would be okay. Boy was I wrong. A few years ago, my head was on fire! It was sensitive to touch as well as burning sensation and itchy. I had hives on several spots on my scalp and back of neck. This time It was just itchy. I rinsed but did it differently because I am disabled. My scalp feels so much better. Thanks again. I've now tried everything. I just allergic to synthetic hair.

I'm braiding my hair myself since 3 years,but I've never had an itchy scalp as by my last boxbraids I've made from X-Pression pre-stretched hair, I'm itching extremely. I'm going to try this ACV water now,I believe it's gonna help and I will not have to put my braids down after a week. Thanks for the video in advance ❤
God Bless you cause I was about to take my braids out! Yes, I braid it once a year with no problem. Never broke out in bumps before but this time! Whew! And yes the price has gone up--.So I was not happy with the prospect of taking them out. I generally soak my hair in acv before getting it done; but this time a new stylist said she'd provide the hair. I never thought about the itch til she was almost done. I bet I won't forget to ask next time. But for now I'm headed for the sink!!!

I had bad allergic reactions which included trouble breathing but this time I tried the AVC rinse and I have no troubles at all!
So…I wonder if this is what I need to do. Does the hair itch your skin period. Bc my braids make my scalp face neck back and arms itch. And it’s driving me crazy! I spend $300 on my hair so I don’t want to take them out….but I’m very tempted lol

GURL I just tried this after I watched your video. I’m sittin here in a towel so THANKFUL for the tips! I added a couple drops of peppermint and a lil of my hair oil just bc I suffer from dry scalp and I can already tell I won’t be so irritated now, thank you!
My neck is broken out now! I have never had this issue before this year. The braids before this did the same thing. Hair is not the same.
I tried this and I would recommend you wash your hair with a little bit of diluted shampoo because I rinsed my hair twice and it still smelt like acv when it dried

I will try this because I just braided my hair and omg my scalp is irritated I also took them out when I got them like a week ago. It feels like I have little wounds/hives and every itch part is feels a little bald deadass. I tempted to just them off. It's 2am right now and I can't sleep because of it. I also just thought it was normal or something but it never happened when I got my hair done in Africa. I also just figured it was because I'm tendered headed that's why, I know I have a sensitive skin and scalp didn't think this would happen. I'm definetly trying this tomorrow. This didn't work for me so I had to go back to the salon and she put Damatol hair, scalp & skin treatment and when I say it worked.... OMG.. She know what I was going through she is allergic to hair as well...

I thanks for sharing, I rarely had breakouts until I started getting passion twists well anyway I tried this and so far so good. Now I just need a video on how to clear up these dark spots from the breakouts😢

I just got some knotless braids which are not tight at all . The first day nothing happened my hair and face was completely FINE. Next day , my whole forehead , ears and whole face basically had nothing but small white bumps on it like malia 😫 ! PISSED . I’m going to try this cause I can’t do this !! It looks like bad acne . Any more suggestions???

@@yakiramcneil8957 girl I used a hot rag on my face for a day straight which to me shrinks the bumps . Then I sprayed the ACV on my braids & last soaked the dips the ends of my hair as close to the scout as possible & neat so you don’t mess your hair up .

My braider used some different hair and my head been itching like crazy. I actually applied the apple cider vinegar straight on my scalp (using a cotton ball) in a small section but not all over yet. Don't know if I was supposed to add water to it. 😬
