This game demonstrates really well how crucial it is for the town to know which demon it is. Yes, they could technically all have been Leech Hosts at the end, but Dan was the most likely candidate for that. They all seemed to think so. Only the fear of a different demon lead them to vote on the other two guys, who both were under a lot of suspicion of _being the demon themselves_ - exactly the people you shouldn't kil if it's a Leech game. But they didn't know it was.

Just an initial thought. Spoilers. I love that Adam getting the Lunatic feels like the least surprising thing ever. It was a role that was made to be played by him HAHAHAHA
Adam desperately hoping he was somehow part of the evil team at 2:04:25 was incredible. If mara had just claimed she was the gambler who killed themselves N2 Adam would have gone this whole game thinking HE was the demon that Carly and Luke abandoned. At the beginning of this episode I thought maybe it's time to retire the lunatic for a while, but Adam's desperate grasp for a trophy at the final reveal has made me reconsider.
I would love to see a series of BotC games where Tom is the main storyteller and Ben is his assistant, using the skills that he has learnt from Ben. He could even storytell an atheist game as his final challenge.
Could you imagine an atheist game with a lunatic? There's no demon but you have a player who thinks they are the demon. Especially with a poppy grower on the script.
only starting this episode but seeing the length of this episode has me so hyped… i know it’ll be an epic one edit: wow, the way carley ended up puppeteering this game was amazing
I'm actually also pretty proud of how luke played this game. Killing Carly without her knowing takes guts, but it was easily the best move and he went for it, leading to an amazing win in the end
Carley is so forward and full of conviction in her world views that she convices Luke of something wrong and he goes along with it despite being told the contrary by the story teller.
When he wasn't a lawyer before he died I started laughing so much I started coughing and tears where flowing. Such a weird, but also perfect, backstory!
Oh, you wonderful humans! Thank you so much for this! I've had a rubbish weekend at work, and this has proper cheered me up, I'm so glad I saved it for today xx
Carley not understanding how a Magician works is surprising for someone with her experience, and that really changed the game. Even after Luke got clarification that all but proved there was no Magician in play!
Yes but the problem was that Luke never got a chance to tell her because Carley was avoiding him to hide they were on teams. Ironically her blunder created an almost perfect world for them
Reading through the comments, it seems like I'm the only person (or in the minority) who thinks it's all a lie. She never misunderstood the role, she just assumed Mara would be found a lot sooner and she tried to save the evil team..
I think she wouldn't make a mistake like that. She wanted to be in more control of the game so she killed off the demon and made another one closer to her. Bit weird to lie about it.
Oh god this was *tragic*. Dan realising he should nominate himself just 20s too late. The magician mistake in the begining. What a rollercoaster, and so goddamn fun and thats without even getting to the ghost lawyer bit
There is one on the Patreon that I wished was the regular one for the month, but I think that one came out the same month as when Adam stole Tempest’s demonhood. So I understand why they chose that one to upload on UA-cam instead.
@@gabthang8 I'm subscribed to the patreon, there really wasn't. There was one where Jon kinda thought he was a lunatic but never fully figured it out until the last day but that's about it.
Dom's Ghost Lawyer bits and the Adam voice (not to be mistaken for NRB Adam, just a guy who looks/sounds exactly like him with the same name) were the bu-bwest parts of this ebisode
Carley tends to be action oriented to try and solve the script. When she keeps putting doubt in possible scenarios, creating more scenarios, and encourages discussion...normally she is evil. Especially if there are only 3 players, she would be freaking out.
so Dom appears to be getting younger, I swear if he has found the fountain of youth and is keeping it all for himself...that's pretty in character actually, fair play.

🎶Ghost lawyer a lawyer who's a ghost he's providing legal aid to the ones who need it most 🎶 came here just to listen to that because it's been stuck in my brain
Spoiler Free: I don't think I've ever been so invested &/or stressed in a Clocktower game since 'Panic has a New Face', holy SHIT this one got good! Spoilers below: Carley absolutely BEEFED with that mistake on the first round, I thought for sure she'd sank the evil team's chances...but all credit to her; she pulled things together and salvaged the game in the last 2 rounds, played it off cool and put shade on invincible leech Luke, which was a great play. Speaking of; Luke played incredibly well too, not really amassing any suspicion until the time it mattered most and using a Poppygrower bluff to help cover up the Pit Hag beef round 1. It's been amazing to see how different in-person games are; Oli and Luke, who have often been ridiculed as two of the worst players, have outplayed a lot of the 'experts' who dominated during the Zoom sessions, it really is a different kettle of fish! Also poor Laurie; once again he solves the entire game and nobody believes him.
Nobody suggested that Dan could have been pit hagged into the farmer to "prove" Sully was innocent. I know he died when it happened but that would have been an awesome play, he could have been a minion. What a great show though. Poor Adam and Mara.
@@ArtemisMunoz but if Sully was pit hag all along and changed Dan to be farmer and his leech killed him the same turn to make it seem like he was telling the truth about being the farmer....there could have been a world 4
Cool idea, but I think not possible in this game. With the information out there, the poisoner (who poisoned Brooke) had to be turned into a demon on night 1 to explain the extra death. So therefore if Sully was a minion he'd have to be the pit hag. And he couldn't have pit hagged Dan and been killed in the same night since the demon kill happens first.
Mara was such a good dead evil player whispering truths into her neighbours ears that then suddenly became a whole lot more questionable. Another immensely interesting game.
Yeah I’m surprised he didn’t think about the pithag thing. Plus since they had almost 100% picked up that the two kills were due to PitHag, he should’ve known that his jump to Jon (if he was an outsider) wouldn’t have gone through.
The fact that he realized this at 2:04:25 and desperately asked if he was on the evil team was incredible. The timid hope in his question followed by embarrassed dejection cuts deep.
Right. If he had been the demon then he would have destroyed his teams chances, and he very much could have been the demon. Adam seems quite willing to throw his own team under the bus on occasion (this isn't the first game its happened).
Unless the video/storyteller messed up, it was mechanically impossible for Adam to be the real demon. On the night the pit hag made a Leech, the real demon did not get to choose someone to die, but the lunatic did.

Great episode. Wish this series was weekly! Probably my most anticipated show on UA-cam.
If you look, you can see the moment I thought about doing this, didn't, then immediately regretted it.
@@marajoy7226Gg Mara! I caught that too - a better bluff came up as info was revealed but I think it was best play to stick to your guns at that point
@@marajoy7226 You've been a fantastic addition to this group for clocktower ^^
Ghost Lawyer and the song was great fun. Great episode as always.
Ghost Lawyer is my absolute favourite NRB character arc 😂
"Ghost Lawyer: Coming this fall to NBC, the defense rests- in peace!" is like the perfect 30 Rock joke to not come from 30 Rock
SO EXCITED FOR ANOTHER IN PERSON BOTC!
I would love to see a series of BotC games where Tom is the main storyteller and Ben is his assistant, using the skills that he has learnt from Ben. He could even storytell an atheist game as his final challenge.
Carley being so confident even when she’s completely blatantly incorrect is such a fun to watch.
This was a fantastic episode but oh my god the ghost lawyer outro had me in tears lol
Could you imagine an atheist game with a lunatic? There's no demon but you have a player who thinks they are the demon. Especially with a poppy grower on the script.
We need another kickstarter ASAP
The idea of how ghost lawyer came to be (which came up at the end) was sheer, nutty class! Great episode!
The end bit is absolutely amazing. Now I want to see ghost lawyer.
These in person games give me life. I would kickstart 100 of these
Ben's unadulterated glee at 39:31 is absolute gold
only starting this episode but seeing the length of this episode has me so hyped… i know it’ll be an epic one
edit: wow, the way carley ended up puppeteering this game was amazing
I'm actually also pretty proud of how luke played this game. Killing Carly without her knowing takes guts, but it was easily the best move and he went for it, leading to an amazing win in the end
The only person who didn't 3-for-3 the farmer was Sully, the farmer.
Carley is so forward and full of conviction in her world views that she convices Luke of something wrong and he goes along with it despite being told the contrary by the story teller.
The conversation with the ST came too late. He couldn’t get another conversation with Carley before she used her ability.
I am so glad I stayed til the end of the video - the Ghost Lawyer theme tune is the best thing i've heard all week
"Frame Laurie" best quote and reason for anything
I just want one game, ONE GAME, where we get to see the Lunatic actually work.
I love Mara so much, so wholesome and sweet 😭
Loved Sully's face that was screaming "X" when Adam claimed to be the dead farmer!
This channel really fills the hole in my heart that Tabletop (hosted by Wil Wheaton on geek and sundry) left in me when it was cancelled
Ghost Lawyer: When you're dead, you can still vote for every nomination, but your vote counts as -1.
1:32:35 LMAO sully walking by is singing “thank you for being a boyfriend”
so Dom appears to be getting younger, I swear if he has found the fountain of youth and is keeping it all for himself...that's pretty in character actually, fair play.
That Ghost Lawyer song is the best cherry on top 🎉🎉🎉
The little song at the end was an absolute treat thank you :D
Brilliant episode made me laugh a lot
Watched on early access (kickstarter backer) but had to watch it again. Genuinely one of my favourite Clocktowers you guys have done. Ghost Lawyer forever.
🎶Ghost lawyer a lawyer who's a ghost he's providing legal aid to the ones who need it most 🎶 came here just to listen to that because it's been stuck in my brain
That Ghost Lawyer OP at the end was brilliant
Tom continues to outdo himself with the opening monologue
What a fun episode! Every in person episode is fantastic so far, I love marathoning these.
Spoiler Free: I don't think I've ever been so invested &/or stressed in a Clocktower game since 'Panic has a New Face', holy SHIT this one got good!
Spoilers below:
Carley absolutely BEEFED with that mistake on the first round, I thought for sure she'd sank the evil team's chances...but all credit to her; she pulled things together and salvaged the game in the last 2 rounds, played it off cool and put shade on invincible leech Luke, which was a great play.
Also poor Laurie; once again he solves the entire game and nobody believes him.
the song at the end is priceless. a strong competitor to the minstrel song tbh
Nobody suggested that Dan could have been pit hagged into the farmer to "prove" Sully was innocent. I know he died when it happened but that would have been an awesome play, he could have been a minion. What a great show though. Poor Adam and Mara.
Couldn’t have happened unless Sully was Pit Hagged out first. Pit Hag can only change to not in play characters.
@@ArtemisMunoz but if Sully was pit hag all along and changed Dan to be farmer and his leech killed him the same turn to make it seem like he was telling the truth about being the farmer....there could have been a world 4
@@esthermills637 Ah yes. Misunderstood you. That would indeed have been an excellent play!
Cool idea, but I think not possible in this game. With the information out there, the poisoner (who poisoned Brooke) had to be turned into a demon on night 1 to explain the extra death. So therefore if Sully was a minion he'd have to be the pit hag. And he couldn't have pit hagged Dan and been killed in the same night since the demon kill happens first.
god, if only we could see a full series of Ghost Lawyer: Starring Dom Allen
If we ever get an NRB scripted comedy channel, we need a Ghost Lawyer series.
James (I'm assuming) delivering the absolute fire in the last seconds of the video.
This episode is making a speedrun for solid gold.
Mara was such a good dead evil player whispering truths into her neighbours ears that then suddenly became a whole lot more questionable. Another immensely interesting game.
I really like this Oops, All Farmers expansion for Blood on the Clocktower.
Honestly, Adam could have been the real starting Demon the whole time (from a mechanical perspective), I don't know why he wrote himself off so easily
If Ghost Lawyer doesn’t make it onto Dom’s IMDB imma start a riot
Carley, many episodes ago: "When I'm evil, I like to act in very game-shaping ways."
Surely, you all watch your own episodes ;)
The first day nominations are a thing of beautyyyyyy
Ghost Lawyer must now become an actual show, starring Dom. 👍
