My brother just died. It is amazing to me that family and others say he is in heaven. So many people believe this happens.

We've always been told suicide is the unforgivable sin, but THE LORD is the decision maker, the advocate for us. There is only 1 sin unto death. HE knows why this was done. Murder, self murder, & many other sins are still forgivable. Repentance & asking for forgiveness is what the LORD looks at. Remember the thief on the cross.
Pastor Doug I think that everything will go back to Eden . So in order to have eternal life we would come together and worship and eat the fruit of the tree of life . Every month. A new fruit.

Contrary to the popular narrative of immortality of the soul, "the dead know nothing" in 2 films: "In Game of Thrones," when resurrected John Snow was asked by the witch who raised him from the dead, what it was like, he said there was nothing. Similar answer by Lazarus to Saul after he was raised by Jesus in the "Last Temptation of Christ."
Ecclesiastes 12:6 and 7 clearly state that when the flesh body dies the silver cord parts in The Clay Pot breaks the flesh goes to the dust of the earth which is dead but the spirit that lives in it goes back to God who gave it instantly.
Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of Heaven First Corinthians 15:50.

Pastor, I have a question. What about babies, that women have lost in pregnancy, that have never breathed or lived outside of the womb? Will they be judged for something they never have done? Or will that be placed on the mother?

What we think is worth a nickel what the Bible says is what matters
Pastor Doug Batchelor 1 Cor 5 was talking about the state of the dead sir , so should have said what it really means, not to explained it , you left it up for people to put theirs own believe to it ,
1st Corinthians 15 verse 44 state that we have two bodies we have a fresh body and we have a spiritual body and that Flush body cannot inherit the Kingdom of Heaven documented in 1st Corinthians 15:50.
There are two meanings of the word dead dead in Revelation 20 means spiritually dead through the Thousand Year Millennium for people that have been taught incorrectly.
If you look up the word dead in the original doctor Strong's Concordance you can see there are two meanings.
I totally agree that he did not explain I don't believe he uses the KJV Bible in a doctor Strong's Concordance.
Usually a Bible teacher will read out of the Bible but look up certain words in the Hebrew Old Testament and Greek in the New Testament to get a deeper meaning as the Bible was translated to English in 1611 and even the scholars that translated the Bible said we did the best we could is there could be four to five meetings of each word

The original text of the scriptures didn't have any punctuation so when the translators translated the bible they just out the Comma in the wrong place. It should read , I tell you Today, comma, you will be with me in paradise. Jesus didn't go to Heaven that Day, He was in the grave that day and the next day which was the Sabbath and the third day he arose, so h didn't go to Heaven until the third day after He was crucified. What did He tell Mary at the Grave when He appeared into her, Do not touch me as I haven't ascended unto heaven yet.

The warning in Leviticus re spirit communication was correct as there were no benevolent spirits to communicate with. The apostle Paul provided the instructions for communicating with those spirits. 350 years later various councils invented their own theology and shut down all communication with God's' spirits or angels. I'd put the rest in the title because it's a false title. Read what it says blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth.
Where is the sermon? Church is about spreading the gospel, not about what going on in people's lives or homes, stick with just reading scripture. Where is if you knew anything, a woman is to not usurp over man and to remain silent as it says in 1 Timothy, but yet she does not, are you sure you are in the faith my friend? Is anyone within this specific church in the faith? Many will hear these words "depart from me you who practices lawlessness, for I never knew you."

He had not yet rose to the paradise of God Revelation 2:7, where the tree of life is in revelation 22:14. It is in heaven.

Paul explains the meaning of II Cor 5:8 in more detail in I Cor 5:3 and Col 2:5. He means not physically present but in mind/thoughts he is with them, thinking about them.....

1st Corinthians 15:44 we have two bodies we have a flesh body and we have a spiritual body to think that the flesh body goes to heaven is completely wild and so untrue that it makes the whole word of God void we have spiritual bodies we live in these flesh bodies.
The parable of Lazarus and the rich man is the perfect example two men that walked the Earth Lazarus is on the right side in Abraham's bosom Abraham's dead.... they're smiling in the rich man is looking over on the left side who didn't keep the Commandments and didn't love God.
To deny Jesus's Parables that he taught on this Earth is not knowing the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven Matthew 13:11.

If you don't understand that during the first Earth age Satan stole 1/3 of God's children and it's documented in Mark 13:35 to know the secrets of the foundation of the world look up Foundation it means k a t a b o l e which is the overthrow of Satan which is documented further in Jeremiah 4:18 and on documented further in 2nd Peter 3:5 do not be willingly ignorant that there was a earth age before this age and it perished with water which is the first flood after Noah's flood.
The Church of Smyrna in the Church of Philadelphia taught this truth and that's why God chose those two churches out of the seven churches otherwise you're of the synagogue of Satan is it states in Revelation 2:9 and Revelation 3 verse 7 through 9.

Matthew 12:27 If all three are represented in our creation then the statement: ashes to ashes, dust to dust, makes a lot more sense after the breath returns to the giver .The repetition designates we were in both our Father’s and His Son’s image, after their likenesses . See Genesis 1:26. He not only put his image on us ;he put his spirit in us, but we can grieve the spirit away and evil spirits can enter us and deface his image in us . See Mark 5 and Luke 8: 29-36. Sin will be erased, but not against the Spirit. Matthew 12: 22-33. The spirit in us produces fruit . Matthew 12:32-37. The question you should be asking is what spirit lives in my heart? See Matthew 12: 43-45. The breath goes away, back to God from where it came and God’s image is defaced/ destroyed as our flesh rots , but the faithful are promised a resurrection . See Job 19: 25-27. Job says “ Why died I not from the womb? Why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly? “ Job 3:11 Then, Job says of the grave that the weary rest both wicked, and the righteous weary and both are prisoners of sin and rest together, hearing no more. ( Job 3:17-18). He states that the Lord has in his hand the soul / life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind. Job 12:10. Finally, reread first Corinthians 15: 42-58. Now it should make sense. We all sleep and our breath is in Jesus’s hands for safe keeping, the hands that hung on the cross. According to Revelation 20 we will either rise in the first or second resurrection depending on our own actions of worship and works ( verses 4 and 12-13).
@@Heavensoon7 Are you arguing a non-physical resurrection? Job 19:26; Luke 24:39; Eze 37:1-10; II Tim 4:7-8; Acts 2:29-34; I Thess 4:16. There are plenty more that show a physical resurrection when Jesus comes.
