psy trance was always a big mystery for me, but the more I get into it, the more I realize that its mostly just randomized stuff, which makes it a lot more approachable for me. Love your videos!

a lot of electronic musicians use RANDOM but it won't be an amazing tune if everything is random, you need to know how to use random really well to make it musical and nice, otherwise it's just a generic random noise without a lot of personality...

instead of the S&H from the chaos oscillator you can also use the "Note on Rand", it works like a sample and hold but will trigger only when there is a NOTE ON. pretty cool stuff.

Great video, more videos like this. I say this not as a paying member (which I am not) but as a long time producer seeing something that I lacked when I started out.

Hey Dash, thanks for your Tutorials! They are really helpful and you are doing very well as a teacher! Could you maybe give some tips about how to get the right loudness out of your tracks without loosing the dynamics?

Tip to make the process more exiting: add Live cut ( Free vst plug in, only in 32 bits version, you have to bridge in for 64 bits users ). Live cut is a warp/stutter/ plug in, it’s works in random, it’s just perfect to get nice glitchs and rythmicals sound to create your grid from this type of sounds :-) !!! Enjoy !

sorry im from other countrie and mi english is not so well so i dont understand sometimes...
you use the plug in to modulate in a random form to gain diferrent type op this sounds?????
and then when u get this sound render it to choose the especific moment in the file later????

All these psytrance tracks sound the same to me. I respect the craft, however. I also wish that I could make it.

Hi, excelent tutorial but anyway I have got one question for you. I replicate each of yours steps, but my "sequencer" in serum is slower then yours. Is there any option how to speed it up? Like sampling time,, I don´t know the exact words for it :D Because it doesn´t sound so good like your one. Thank you very much for answer. :)

1:21 how did you do that little "coming up" for the kick/bass right befor you stop the track?

Automate the treble of all your tracks to be all the way down at first and to rise up. So the automation should look like this: /
