Hello there. Once again, another excellent trip report. Keep them coming! Glad to know that Swiss Airlines service is right up there with Emirates on the same route. Food choices looked good on both meals. Nice to see many Galaxy-Class Starships (A380s) upon landing in Dubai. Keep up the excellent work!
I've flown Swiss before, from Singapore to Zurich and back to Bangkok. To be honest its definitely a good airline but since i've taken Emirates i have never looked back. I live in Australia and fly back to Zurich every 2 years. All around just a great experience.
Did this trip in 2009 as part of a Cleveland-Chicago-Zurich-Dubai trip at Christmas. Something magical about landing in the alps in winter with 2 young kids excited about Christmas and seeing their cousins in Dubai (who didn’t know we were coming). Chicago-Zurich-Dubai was an A330-300 but the final Zurich-Chicago segment was an A340. Great flights though seats a bit snug when person in front reclined. We were lucky enough to be in a mini-cabin in economy which they had back then of about 4 rows if I remember. Love Zurich airport.
Wow! Sounds like a great trip! 2009! It's been a while since then! hehe They still fly the A340, but just a couple of them if I remember well. I gures they'll be retired soon.
Unitil a couple of years ago this airline trained their pilots here in Tucson, AZ. at Ryan airfield in there GA litlle planes. I watch them learning landings and maneuvers. It was great having lunch with them and they all seemed so nice and intelligent. Maybe the one on your plane started flying in Tucson.
Thanks for sharing, great video! Swiss A330 product needs refurbishment, far away from being as good as 777ER product which can cope with Emirates. However, A380 service still somehow unrivaled. Furthermore, Terminal 1 (arrival Swiss and all other non-Emirates airlines) in Dubai not as nice as T3 (operated excl. by Emirates), but this is nothing Swiss/Lufthansa Group is to blame for!
Great video 😊 And SWISS made a great job too, I really like their service, and it was an awesome catering on this flight. I've already flown this route in their First Class and it was an incredible flight. Unfortunately, a flight to Dubai is simply too short 😁
Thanks! Yeah, the onboard service is definitely better, but if you take everything together, like the advantages of Miles&More and other stuff. And you add this more than decent service... I guess it can compete :)
Swiss is on my list of airlines to try. I've been meaning to ask, how do you know where different aircraft are going when they are parked at the airports? I love your videos and look forward to them every week!
@AlexInTheSky3RBLX thanks! It's just that sometimes we can't see the registration but I guess he has a better view. Thank you for the explanation, much appreciated.
I'm a flight attendant and I can tell you we will in the united states we don't have enough air traffic controllers we are reducing flying at least in NYC
Jet2holidays is the best airline compared to Swiss. Because flew with jet2holidays before. Have a good flight OnboardHD. When are u next flying with jet2holidays again because I love they videos.😂❤
How to define "best airline" ? For some people it's the route network, others might appreciate Y class (SQ has 9-across Y on its 777s), others might prefer J class quality etc etc.

Come to Uganda also dear

Two of my favorite things in this video: seeing other big planes flying nearby in the same airspace and lights below at night.
Impressive catering, very outstanding among all western European airlines!

This pizza margerita looked more like a "Chäschüechli". A typical snack of Switzerland.

Great views!
Thia swiss snack is much better than the "breakfast" they offer in South America flights.

I loved it!! The clouds were magnificent and the Dubai flyover wow!!. I've seen better food in your other flights but it was good anyway. Thank you.

Very good video. Congratulation.
I am travelling from Dubai - Vancouver with a layover at Zurich on Swiss next month. Hopefully its a good flight!
Super video! 😍
Great capture of the Thai and Singapore flights how ever the service is not as I was hoping I think emirates service is 100% better no doubt 😊
Thanks!

If they refit the airbuses with new interior they are easy number 1 on this route!
Nope, cant beat emirates
I would like a video of Lot Polish.
only nice on this route as they have a direct competition from emirates
Big news! Swiss and Austrian will be getting the Boeing 787-9 Dream)liner soon!
That’s true for Austrian but not for Swiss. They will get the A350 with the new cabin
But there’s a picture with a Swiss and Austrian 787
En el siguiente reporte de vuelo podrás hacer desde Sidney a icn corea en korean air boeing 777 300
When will you fly EL Al? 6:20
Free Palestine 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
Certenly I prefer SWISSS always!!!!!
Why dont we see SWISS ordering A350s 787s ?
Swiss A350 will be delivered in 2025
Lufthansa ya está muy viejito y mayor Swiss tiene calidad
Y encima el Aeropuerto de Zurich Funciona al 100% Mejor que Frankfurt y tiene un HUB de Swiss Maravilloso
4:04 Andrew Tate spotted XD
