The Bible says PRIDE goes before DESTRUCTION,
Pride reminds me of yeast. It can completely take you over before you even realize it's there. And it can hide too. The spore can survive anything and germinate when conditions are no longer hostile. Pride worries me because I know I'm not above it. I have to really check in with myself to see if what I'm doing is to be a blessing or simply to prove a point. This is where I found pride. I can tell if pride has stepped in if I speak to prove error where there's no legitimate need and with no concern for their hurt in the process. There's a time to just expose a problem but those times are fewer than I have seen. And you know what? He helps me. He's helping me to grow, to be less like me and more like Him.
