@@longbows No, only about 30#. Maybe it is my frugality at work here. I bought the glove first and it didn't protect 100%, so I bought a tab. I didn't want to "waste" the glove so I just wear both. I should point out I'm a beginner.
Hello, I am doing a project to design the highest weight war bow I can, I was thinking Joe Gibbs 200 pound bow but made from black ronwood (Krugiodendron ferreum) or Madagascar rosewood (Dalbergia maritima) backed with Gaboon Ebony (Diospyros crassiflora) with recurved ends. Any advice would be much appreciated

i love shooting gloves so much that ive only tried a tab once and never tried it again, its especially nice for a freezing enviroment like i live in
Great
Just got back into traditional archery, and boy, do my fingers hurt. Having my wife make a couple of these asap.
ouch! sorry to hear that, we sell them for a couple of quid if your wife says no!
I'm been using a glove *and* a tab at the same time. It just gives a little more protection.
interesting, not heard of anyone doing that before. is the bow quite heavy?

Hi, we dont make bows of that weight, sorry, those sorts of woods arent usually used in a traditional Warbow, I would talk to Joe Gibbs. Good luck.
Wow the english tabs sure are different from American tabs
interesting , how so?
@@longbows Our tabs are just designed a bit different and use multiple pieces of leather and i dont know look more modern
Tried using tabs on my 70lb horse bow and after 18 arrows I have numb fingers.
How long have been using this bow?
