I love my 09 x5 4.8! Been taking it off-road ever since i got it! Slow and steady is its motto! Going to Butcher Jones next weekend. If you don't know look it up! Ill be pushing the x5 to the limits
I got a 2001 ford f150 4x4 offroad lifted 6in with mudders and honestly my 2006 X5 with slightly larger nitto tires and 2in lift handles just as well on trails. I use it to my ford since it actually handles much better on road. I've actually towed 10,000 lbs with my x5. Things a beast
Needs a little more ground clearance and suspension travel and it would be great off-road, but of course as we all know, the BMW X5 is an amazing on-road driving machine with LIGHT off-road capability. Overall an excellent vehicle, but for SERIOUS off-roading I would take a jeep.
they are not crazy,is just a test from the dealership,and we can see that they are prepared on everything to prove that this car is good,and we like the car :)
@danoconnell427 4WD turns all four wheels. AWD is computer controlled and puts more power to the wheels that are needed, Nissan AWD keeps more power to rear wheels till they start to loose traction in which they put more power to the front.
You fuckng dumb ass rivalries that, unlike these bmw's, the terrain response in land rovers was NOT USED IN BMWs. Land rovers had completely different 4x4 systems, with locking diffs and low range.
@TheFreakyJhonny a lot of cars will do better this car wasnt ment to do hardcore offroading it's mostly just to get to the campsite and back kinda stuff

Tho, I don't like SUV's at all and I am an Audi fan, I have to say what new X5 can handle, it has my thumb up and like, very nice vid!
