My I is one of my favorite songs not only bc of China-line and they both participated in the writing of the song and choreo, but also because of the meaning of the song. Minghao was inspired after watching the movie Your Name and the song is about your past/present self meeting your future self and having a conversation with them knowing that you will grow into that person and everything will be okay. It plays around with the idea of time and in the choreo they each play a part (past/future) and you can see them interact while connected with a ribbon (like the red ribbon that connects people in Asian mythology!) but it's like the connection between your past and future self and the way that they choreographed the choreo is just so beautiful and intricate it's really one of my favorite things that they've done ever

YES Habit live performance is a must watch! Also IF I is amazing live as well, honestly all of these songs are AMAZING live! The choreo for swimming fool and crazy in love are gorgeous, and My I's choreo is so unique considering they use a sort of ribbon/fabric in their dance. :)) There's also a performance video of My I, where the quality would most likely be better than a live performance, but it's up to you which you'd want to watch ! And girl Crazy in Love live hits so different I'm telling you

You're right about the thing with hiphop unit. Seventeen's HHU is on different levels with other groups' hiphop line (in my opinion) bc they always bring out this unique and-how do i call it?-an unconventional, experimental, or even 'strange' style of music. One can see these characteristics in their songs Chilli, Back It Up, and Gam3 Bo1! The thing is, Seventeen's HHU is quite underrated/underappreciated(?) and that's a bit sad for me bc the really bring a unique take to the usual hard-hitting and 'strong/loud' kpop hiphop songs. I wish we could flex seventeen's hiphop unit more and the whole group ofc!
Agree! That's actually one of the reasons why I fell in love with Seventeen and their Hip Hop Unit. They really experiment with their sound and it's just refreshing to me. Also really love how they change their way of rapping with each song~ ❤️

He performed it during ideal cut concert where each member had solo perf which songs weren’t officially released as well. The live performances of the songs from this album are all good. My I's choreo is so creative you might want to check that. Crazy in Love has choreo too.
In 52:20 the background singer is Jun and My I is like my ai in chinese mean my love. You should see My I mv and chinese version lyrics too. If you see the lyrics they were in parallel universe. Not many know about that :( and the lyrics is slightly different because they in different point of view. For Korean ver “you were my future, I am your past” Jun singing (past pov) but in chinese “I am your future, you were my past” is Minghao singing (future pov). They were in different parallel. It will hit you hard because it have deep meaning about future will always there waiting and protect for past to get through obstacles because the future know that it will be fine after that and they will meet each other. Because if one of them lost the other will lost too because they are connected to each other. That explain the choreography why they always face and back each other but in the last they will meet each other. Minghao and Jun is genius for think this story but many not know about this. Minghao have told that he inspired by Kimi No Nawa(Your Name) while write the lyrics (and the choreography too). You guys should see it if you don't because it's very inspired by that. After you finished all the albums, if you can watch/listen to the unreleased songs in their Ideal Cut concert it will be very much appreciated. :) They each have a solo performance showcasing their individuality. My favorite is What Kind of Future by Woozi, which made carat land cry buckets of tears. And then there’s Hoshi’s Touch which is a different feeling altogether.

Mama Pillbug, WHO is a special song that is part of this album in the CD but not on spotify like Check In, it is on Seventeenlyrics though so try to make time to listen to it too. It's a performance team song. Woozi's voice tugs on your heart, sometimes slowly sometimes abruptly and sometimes you don't notice it he pulls your heart so much it feels like comes out with your soul. His other songs he's produced for other people like I don't miss u for Bumzu and Downpour for IOI shows how deeply he feels and how much emotion he can wring out of any song he comes up with.

This is one of my favorite albums of Seventeen of all times. The title track, the bsides, the album name/title, everything. It's just perfect. And Habit is really really really one of my top faves out of all svt songs. It just hurts, and it's just so painful and beautiful at the same time, that i always wonder what Woozi had gone through everytime i listen to this song. I just love it. But their live performance of Habit is just everything, you gotta watch it! It highlights everything, making it hurt more, yk. The raw, clear, live vocals are so gorgeous, i can't stop listening to it. And you can clearly hear all their runs and adlibs in the bg, especially in the bridge part, like damn. It's just so painfully perfect😭

Habit is the top tier out of all vocal unit songs. i think it has the most fair line and each members voice was stunning out so much, everyone got to hit that high notes in each of their lines. for anyone who havent watch their performance for this song, i highly recommend u to watch habit performance on their Japan Arena Tour (definitely seventeen's best concert till now). the emotion they deliver through this song and when their harmonizing in the end of the song is hit me so hard. their performance of this song is a MUST WATCH thing haha

In that dream, there was a gloomy sky and a wide field, and there was a road and in the middle of the road was a pinwheel. He thought it looked lonely in his dream and its like it was waiting for me. The lyrics are about longing for someone you can't meet anymore. It's just so profound how he connected human emotions to an inanimate object. After I knew that infor, understand the lyrics, everytime I watch the MV and how the members act in that MV, I'm always about to cry. The feeling of loneliness... Hope you have time to watch Woozi plays Pinwheel on piano. It always hits different especially when live. And you need to watch If I live version too, it is so sexy!!!
I always had a feeling that Habit would hit you hard. And I think you may have gotten your carat wings this video: Wanting, né, NEEDING a Woozi solo/mixtape. We Carats, we NEEEEEED it. Woozi is nothing short of exceptional. We would be blessed to have a whole mini album worth of songs- as say this as someone who is fully Wonwoo biased as well. Woozi is just some other kind of special that there aren’t enough words to describe. There is a MV for My I and there’s a choreography video for Crazy In Love that you’ll probably enjoy whenever you get around to choreo practices.

What amazing in Vocal Team's Songs is that they sing the same song but in different type of pain depending on the lyrics!!! Like how Seungkwan sang the the adlib "my baby,my baby,my baby" It sounded like how aperson shouts in longing feeling while calling out for a loved they really misses and then at the end "i want to tell you that" It sounded like he was tired and just wanted to feel free from this habit but it just can't go away. I've never been in a relationship and songs from them just make me cautious in entering a relationship.

Yes, Seungkwan and Hoshi are my biases, but Woozi is my favorite vocalist in SVT. His vocals always so crisp, clear, and punch you in the gut. I 100% agree with you-- the way he can evoke emotion through his vocal is nuts. When you get done with all the SVT songs, you should listen to his solo song "What Kind of Future." It's actually insane. From what I remember, it was a really personal song and he only intended on singing it once. He ended up doing it one more time I think for a Bumzu concert, but that was it. No studio version was ever recorded.

YES Habit live performance is a must watch! Also IF I is amazing live as well, honestly all of these songs are AMAZING live! The choreo for swimming fool and crazy in love are gorgeous, and My I's choreo is so unique considering they use a sort of ribbon/fabric in their dance. :)) There's also a performance video of My I, where the quality would most likely be better than a live performance, but it's up to you which you'd want to watch ! And girl Crazy in Love live hits so different I'm telling you

You're right about the thing with hiphop unit. Seventeen's HHU is on different levels with other groups' hiphop line (in my opinion) bc they always bring out this unique and-how do i call it?-an unconventional, experimental, or even 'strange' style of music. One can see these characteristics in their songs Chilli, Back It Up, and Gam3 Bo1! The thing is, Seventeen's HHU is quite underrated/underappreciated(?) and that's a bit sad for me bc the really bring a unique take to the usual hard-hitting and 'strong/loud' kpop hiphop songs. I wish we could flex seventeen's hiphop unit more and the whole group ofc!
Agree! That's actually one of the reasons why I fell in love with Seventeen and their Hip Hop Unit. They really experiment with their sound and it's just refreshing to me. Also really love how they change their way of rapping with each song~ ❤️

my most fave song jihoon ever created is ‘what kind of future’ but it is not officially released. He performed it during ideal cut concert where each member had solo perf which songs weren’t officially released as well.

You should see My I mv and chinese version lyrics too. If you see the lyrics they were in parallel universe. Not many know about that :( and the lyrics is slightly different because they in different point of view. For Korean ver “you were my future, I am your past” Jun singing (past pov) but in chinese “I am your future, you were my past” is Minghao singing (future pov).
They were in different parallel. It will hit you hard because it have deep meaning about future will always there waiting and protect for past to get through obstacles because the future know that it will be fine after that and they will meet each other. Because if one of them lost the other will lost too because they are connected to each other.
That explain the choreography why they always face and back each other but in the last they will meet each other. Minghao and Jun is genius for think this story but many not know about this.

After you finished all the albums, if you can watch/listen to the unreleased songs in their Ideal Cut concert it will be very much appreciated. :) They each have a solo performance showcasing their individuality. My favorite is What Kind of Future by Woozi, which made carat land cry buckets of tears. And then there’s Hoshi’s Touch which is a different feeling altogether.

Woozi's voice tugs on your heart, sometimes slowly sometimes abruptly and sometimes you don't notice it he pulls your heart so much it feels like comes out with your soul. His other songs he's produced for other people like I don't miss u for Bumzu and Downpour for IOI shows how deeply he feels and how much emotion he can wring out of any song he comes up with.

This is one of my favorite albums of Seventeen of all times. The title track, the bsides, the album name/title, everything. It's just perfect.
And Habit is really really really one of my top faves out of all svt songs. It just hurts, and it's just so painful and beautiful at the same time, that i always wonder what Woozi had gone through everytime i listen to this song. I just love it.
But their live performance of Habit is just everything, you gotta watch it! It highlights everything, making it hurt more, yk. Habit is the top tier out of all vocal unit songs. i think it has the most fair line and each members voice was stunning out so much, everyone got to hit that high notes in each of their lines. for anyone who havent watch their performance for this song, i highly recommend u to watch habit performance on their Japan Arena Tour (definitely seventeen's best concert till now). the emotion they deliver through this song and when their harmonizing in the end of the song is hit me so hard. their performance of this song is a MUST WATCH thing haha

The lyrics are about longing for someone you can't meet anymore. It's just so profound how he connected human emotions to an inanimate object. After I knew that infor, understand the lyrics, everytime I watch the MV and how the members act in that MV, I'm always about to cry. The feeling of loneliness...

What amazing in Vocal Team's Songs is that they sing the same song but in different type of pain depending on the lyrics!!! Like how Seungkwan sang the the adlib "my baby,my baby,my baby" It sounded like how aperson shouts in longing feeling while calling out for a loved they really misses and then at the end "i want to tell you that" It sounded like he was tired and just wanted to feel free from this habit but it just can't go away. I've never been in a relationship and songs from them just make me cautious in entering a relationship.
The HIPHOP unit performed IF I at their concert and it was HOT girl. Also, one of their iconic performances of all time is MY I by our China line Jun and The8 where they're like yin and yang.

Yes, Seungkwan and Hoshi are my biases, but Woozi is my favorite vocalist in SVT. His vocals always so crisp, clear, and punch you in the gut. I 100% agree with you-- the way he can evoke emotion through his vocal is nuts. When you get done with all the SVT songs, you should listen to his solo song "What Kind of Future." It's actually insane. From what I remember, it was a really personal song and he only intended on singing it once. He ended up doing it one more time I think for a Bumzu concert, but that was it. No studio version was ever recorded.
