Loved Divine Rivals!! That book took me my surprise and had me thinking about it weeks later! Now starting the Will of the Many and When the Moon Hatched❤ Happy to see you enjoyed these so it’s motivating me to finish these sooner

Can’t handle your dog in that sweater 😂😍 You already know I loved ODW and I loved Divine Rivals too! I loved Ruthless Vows more though which is where we differ. Still really need to read The Will of the Many!! I don’t know if I could pick my top 5, haha there are so many good ones I read this year!

I read the will of the many because of you and it's easily one of my favourite books of the year, so thank you! Even though they're drastically different, I got the same feeling like when I read Harry Potter as a child, maybe because that's the only other time I felt so connected to a male main character?

I haven’t read any of the books you mentioned but I have heard of them. I liked your synopsis for each one, I definitely added them all and I’m really interested in The Book Of Doors and The Will of The Many!

I found 'Divine Rivals' pretty ordinary. Okayish. I've decided not to continue with the second part...
'The will of the many' is on my TBR since the previous trilogy of the author (Licanius trilogy) stole my heart❤
I've just called my library to order When the Moon Hatched😂 Your videos are really inspiring!

I'm currently reading The Will of the Many and I'm excited to see where the story goes! Have you read The Red Rising trilogy by Pierce Brown? It's so good and this series is one of my top reads of the year (it is more sci fi which I don't normally read but it surprised me)! 😊The Will of the Many is similar to that series.

It's so weird in a refreshing sense that for me, because I'm the complete opposite for reading the perspectives of male vs female 😅 because, I don't know if it's just fatigue from recent fantasy books, but with YA or mature fantasy/romantasy, it just feels redundant that the main female's POV is either this bitter, broken, huntress/badass female girlboss, or the complete opposite of the spectrum where the girl is insecure, or innocent, or just... like so dense in the worst sense of "girly girl" if that makes sense? 😂 When reading Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin, like Louise was so refreshing as a main female protagonist, because like no other main female I've read was written like her 😂 So I'm very hopeful to read The Will of the Many, because reading from a girl's head is just tiring 😂
I was surprised that The Book of Doors was only 2nd place, because: whaaattt??? Something was considered better for Olive?!?! 😄
One thing for When the Moon Hatched: did you ever feel too much of the writing style? In the sense that it just bugged you? Because to me, every 3rd sentence was just too over the top. Like the author was trying too hard to show and not tell. Like, the style was just so flowery, but so cliché, like, did you personally feel that?

For when the moon hatched, I definitely felt that at times! I think I felt it especially when certain scenes or moments got really long winded like I talked about in the video. There were times where I felt like we had said and experienced literally everything we could have in this moment, and yet it's still carrying on. That was definitely my biggest gripe with the book.
