What I've realized in this song, is the must simplicity of faith. We cannot box in our God to conform always in the way we wanted it to be in our lives having a thought that “ It has to be always be like this. ” and how He will moves in our worship even in our spiritual lives, sometimes the base of anointing nowadays is how emotion-filled the people in the church, because you can be go slain and speak in tongues only with yourself but not by God, nor being changed after so, one can get a fire (a strange fire) and justify it is the fire that comes from God, but we cannot fool God, one may say that he's ok because He's doing his devotion, and well in prayer...but often time it only becomes a tradition & routine when it gets more and more common, not speaking that I'm perfect but even I was gone through such. The Gospel is there, we should make our faith simply directed to knowing the LORD not conforming in only then to what is the ROUTINE, the intimacy brethrens... Hope somebody get my point and can explain also this in most detail...
Yes I'm into speaking and tongues, being slain, even prayer and devotion, it's just that if it becomes a routine or tradition to one's heart only because of the thinking “ It is must be always done like this, it should be always like this. ” and then assumed God to be there. Intimacy is vital.

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” For our sins we deserve hell. But since Jesus came to this earth as a free gift out of God’s amazing love to pay for our sins and take the punishment we deserved we can be saved. We accept this gift with our genuine faith and not by works (Ephesians 2:8-9)

This song feels good yes. And some of it is true, but some of it is actually anti-gospel. The simple gospel teaches us that we are sinners and not worthy of God's love and forgiveness. Indeed that we should be ashamed of our sins. This song says that these 2 things are "untruths". The gospel is the good news that even those these 2 things are in fact true, that God still loves us dearly and graciously offers us salvation and relationship with Himself. This is amazing good news! This is the simple Gospel. Although it is good to seek God through music, be careful with what the lyrics teach. If you believe what this song's lyrics teach you would think there is no need for salvation through faith in Christ because it is "untrue" that my sins separate me from God, and "untrue" that I don't measure up. Therefore I'm good in my sins just the way I am and don't need Jesus at all. I just have to "draw near" to God in however makes me feel good - actually leading you to a delusion that you are close to God when really aren't. Believe the simple gospel, but also know what the simple Gospel is
