I do wish though we were using our shovels for snow right now ... We're using backhoes and shovels for clearing debris and people's destroyed possessions and memories, after the past two weeks of constant torrential rain along the east coast of Australia ... resulting in 14.38 metre high flood water in some areas near us. If it's not drought, then bushfires or floods 🙏 You bring a bright spot to my days ... thank you ❣️

Ginny - I love this folio!! You do beautiful work, and I certainly agree, that the plum color is perfect with the decorative cardstock - you are definitely using this paper collection to its best !!!
LOVE the cover on this project!! That cardstock is a lovely plum...so nice a choice for this project. Coffee and this most interesting tutorial...nice way to spend an afternoon. More of the white stuff!?!? Yet again, I am glad to live here in the Pacific NW...Mt. Hood is getting more snow, but Kelso is only getting "liquid sunshine." Daffodils and grape hyacinth are blooming...nice!
I always enjoy your projects because you explain everything so well, and the Joann's paper is beautiful. I got snow today in Tennessee as well, but luckily it is suppose to melt fast. Thanks you for project!

Hi Ginny! Hope this counts as a #Michigander or #Upper. I lived in Marquette, Mi for 8 years, a couple of miles from the shores of Lake Superior, so I'm very familiar with snow and a lot of it! I loved it, it's God's country!
For this folio I could not add the trim under the back cover as the folio opened from the back as well as the front. When I add ribbon to most of my folios it's because I really love it and I want to showcase it as a design element as much as a practical function to I add it under the front to secure it but I wrap the back so I can see more of it.

Can I ask why you do not put the ribbon under the back cover? Love this album. Can quickly make a bunch for gifts.

I’m having trouble finding wet glue that doesn’t cause my papers to buckle. Have you had that problem with the Tombow you use?
