Cmon man not much skill necessary to ever use the cheapest character in a game. Idk why ppl dont understand that a skill based win means everyone can do the same things but one does it better rather than oh your character has a five hit combo and mine has a ten hit combo plus I can slither across whole level in one second and keep hitting you……huh?!? Hahahaha. This is where you say im triggered or upset about losing to her but I literally dont play video games at all. Was doin CODM but it got so repetitive and I just mean as far as every match bein full of cowardly hackers that it is no longer worth it haha. Little kids and middle aged men spending money on the game means you lose every time no matter how good you are. The devs(short for devils but called developers? Who are mega douche bag scam artists) give you crazy advantages for spending money on their bullshit game items that just do all the work for you. Nothing makes sense anymore.
This guy actually seems to have cracked some new optimized combos. In the corner for 3 bars or less, jumping heavy into heavy punch heavy tackle, ground wave then drive rush crouching heavy into either medium crackshoot or od crackshoot seems to do the best damage. For full cashout after a corner stun for example though, starting out with ground wave still seems to be the way to go. For 3 bars or less of drive gauge though, the former is better.
Hikaru not having a good day it seems/nerve against a new character? Lots of chokes, especially thee burnout loops that would otherwise guarantee massive chip plus bait super, I also don't have the timestamp but round 6 he goes for super 1 against Terry's wave? Hey we all have our days
i assume it's a limitation contract thing, but damn, terry is so boring to watch with the same old moves since the dawn of snk (even tho this is hands down his best version) 😮💨 hope he gets a speedo or some swimsuit fit in the future to make up for it lol
To be fair the toxic is very very slow and fades over time so he has reapply it, it's also less about the poison and more about the fact that's when the poison is applied certain moves work as combo extenders.
@@oshenone6947 Even then, its an absolutely *toxic* thing to put in the game. (Ba-dum-tssh.) But still. If the later games in this set showed me anything, its that the toxic damage is dealing as much, if not more, than their melee hits. Short version: We can say I'd have to punch Terry 20 times in a match to down him once. If Toxic damage deals even 1 punch worth of damage, even if it is very slow damage and yes, even if it has to be re-applied, that gives the fighter who has it an extreme advantage over fighters who can't break their defenses. Put it all together: If Toxic damage deals 1 punch worth of damage over 10 seconds, that means I have to punch Terry 1 time *less* for every time I apply it. That is *free damage* being applied because I hit one move.
A slightly different explanation: Think of it like Smash Bros. Ultimate's Joker and, to a lesser extent, Sephiroth. Joker's Eiha, his side-special, is a projectile that if it touches you, it will deal very little knockback and initial damage, but 11% in damage over the next 10-15 seconds. And you tell me "That's not a lot." Now consider this: if I grab my opponent, down-throw to bounce them off the stage and then start an up-air chain while Eiha is ticking, I am gaining multiple interactions worth of damage *for free* because I hit my opponent once. Same for Sephiroth's side-B. He snaps his fingers, and based on how long he charged it, if you're within a decent horizontal range, you get the skittles floating around you. And each one deals a whopping TWENTY PERCENT OF DAMAGE. And you might say "Oh, but you can just shield the skittles!" *Not if I'm in your face ready to punish you for trying.*
Ah yes, my daily dose of Hikaru AKI supremacy.

@@justinmagee2203 you shouldn't make a statement like that if you don't play the game and i mean in ANY GAME. 🙄
Hikaru magnificent as always but damn that Terry corner pressure is scary
11:40 Hikaru bet everything and won
ballsy asf
Clever asf
That's one seriously offensive Aki 😱👍
Even in defense Aki is offensive minded waiting and baiting to attack for the KO. Very impressive 💥
Just like a Viper… fitting! 🐍
I like Aki's smile
17:40 how does this ninja always find some new combo I’ve never seen before??? wtf lol
Fabulous fight
here for AKI
This match is so hype.
18:18 Terry really was desperate to win
So far I've seen Terry users are playing cheap in a specific way, why???
Hikaru letting AKI win out of guilt 😅
Everyday a new #1 Terry

11:32 I was like: go hikaru, send a special 2
I swear Terry, Ed and Luke are the same characters to me 😭

Hikaru looks toxic as heck to fight. The damn poison... WHO THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO PUT *POISON* IN A FIGHTING GAME LIKE STREET FIGHTER!?

@@oshenone6947 true and if anything the fact that some of AKI combo are locked behind the poison really makes her have less options
