@@torekristoffersen176 yeah, they are... I found a striped and rusty '68 318 in a Texas junkyard a few years ago... you would fall out if I told you how much I got for it after scoring a bunch of small parts, doors and fenders...
Doug has a great collection I have been a mopar guy since I was a kid started buying car mags and they were all Mopar magazines and then into the cars when I was old enough. My first car was a mopar it was a 1979 Dodge Aspen and my first muscle car was a 1972 Road runner with a 440 it was plumb crazy with black interior and it's been nothing but Mopars ever since
I like the Dark Green interior at first I did not like them but now that I am older they are so cool even better then black in some cars but my favorite interior color is white.
The title said first generation Chargers. This is all second generation Chargers, challengers and Plymouths. One first generation Charger. Still a great Mopar video.
I would say he was off on purchase date of Hemi Charger. I would say November 1967! I got my first 68 Charger R/T September 67 and my brother got his December 67. Got my 69 first week September 68.
@@CarsShopsAndCollections Sadly no. Have replacements in form of ongoing projects. Do have 1 of my 71 Charger R/T survivor 6-pack and 71 challenger 340 non RT convertible that I’m redoing.
@@CarsShopsAndCollections LOL... your videos make me want to move to Vegas! Here in my part of Florida, the car show Chevy guys are so dumb they can't even spell MOPAR!

‘68 Charger is the ultimate muscle car…❤

@@roberthill2219 as much as I would like to agree with you, these days any second gen Charger is worth it’s weight in gold- love them all-

Doug and his team are working on getting them all on the road! Thanks for watching!
I almost get sick when I think about the four Challengers I had and sold for 3 k or less one was a 71 r/t with a 440 Hemi orange rally wheels !
Noooooo!!! Well.. I think that happens to a lot of people!
Even a little red express, that's sick

True. The Coronet was close as it came to the 66 67 first generation fastback Chargers.

Doug has to live to age 125 to finish restoring his collection.
If anyone can do it… Doug can do it!
Wwwwwwwoww
If the hemi charger was for sale what would it sell for
Good question... He's not selling any but I'll try to find out what the value would be!
@@CarsShopsAndCollections it's probably worth 300.000
I think the best looking charger was the 70 I own a few back in the day but now I can't afford a paint chip off of one
Green 68 charger all day long
Heck yeah! That was the first one ever sold in Las Vegas!
Haha, he's like me, I hate doors left ajar. Shut the door!
I just caught that... I was overwhelmed at the time! Lol.
I'm interested in how old is this guy?
Doug is the best… 82 today! Happy Birthday Doug!! 🎉
82 wow that’s equally amazing to the awesome mopar , Doug does not appear to be in his 80’s I would have thought early 50’s 😮.
No more junk or 50 year old car 🚗
What's the point,, of serving that many masters when you don't need the money, ho less fortunate can enjoy this when its hidden away
I hate hoarders Cars that will never be seen ,nothing for Sale, same old story
He builds them… I’ve featured a few of his finished products!
Ugh... why did you have to bring up electric cars???
I don't know what came over me. LOL!

It’s private… we were lucky enough to get in a film/ chat with Doug. The only crew he has let in.
