*Please read* It turns out that I've got a defective Albatross antenna and therfore I could only get to 1.5KMs. Hopefully I will be able to get a replacement antennas and test it out again.
This is some amazing footage, kinda jealous and I live in paradise. Funny how I end up Watching your videos twice. It usually ends up corresponding with my builds you have helped me in many ways. Thanks a bunch😎🎮🤙🏻stay up
@@NunoFlyer Totally agree with you !They had success with the Nazgûl 5 and it went to their heads !! I hope they will be eaten alive by the competition
Thank you so much for coming out with the review for this quad so quickly. Would you say this quad has better stability when cruising comparing to the Flywoo LR4?
Hey man! Enjoyed the review!!👌 Are you going to make the video with the "DeadCat" frame switch? I'm considering buying this quad but i would like to have the props off view! Do you think the different frame will affect the performance or that a change in the tune is going to be needed? Cheers and keep up the good work!
Thanks Dimitris. Yes, I have the needed parts and I plan to build it soon :-) I am pretty sure that it will affect the performance and make it more power efficient.
Thanks for this video and the precision about the versions with nebula or DJI cam. I was wondering why all the youtubers were testing the chimera/geprc/flywoo with DJI cam, while I can only find them with the nebula. Same price but not the same quality, shaddy commercial practice imo.
The SUCCEX-E MINI F4 FC does have 8MB onboard. One big thing about this build over the Explorer LR is the FC size. 20x20 VS 16x16. 35A VS 15A with the 16x16 Goku stack. I really like the SUCCEX-E MINI F4. Small, but not tiny- big enough soldering pad which makes it very easy to wire up. Bonus- It's under $50.
Great Vid! Did you ever get to test the DeadCat style frame for flight characteristic & times. I want the 3800kv to do light freestyle / long range. Thx
you can see the gps information and all of the osd in fact everything is recorded and watching the videos from the googles you can activate the osd and therefore see everything including gps coordinates, important!
shame the chimera distance is so compromised when comparing the LR. You think it's purely because of the 'quality' of the antenna? Must be other issues as well...don't you think?
@@KremerFPV you think he does not fly the deadcat version well ?? can you tell me why? because i have the chimera 4 (in X) and the deadcat setup kit too, and i want to make a quad with the deadcat style frame kit .. (but the original flies so well !!!, mini freestyle for me amazing!) but would like to try if it doesn't work, I would buy the original frame back to do it if the deadcat isn't ok .. (actually I'm waiting for videos from people who would have it went up to see ... I was counting on you a little!;) ..)
I heard they can fly for a long time What makes them fly more than 20 mins? I finished your whole video. You've reached 351 seconds. How can we achieve 20 mins?

I am glad I can help you out buddy.
Take care and happy flying!
I like the geprc one. But already ordered explorer before these came out. Though it still hasn't shipped. Been almost 2 months
Love the explorer. Only reluctance with geprc is aio board. This one's interesting, but like explorer's props out of camera view.
@@tigrollin6450 this one heavier.. geprc the same weight. Thats why I like it. And props out the view
Good luck with flyshit...bad company, bad customer service.
No more than a spaming fpv company....

Are you getting the GepRC Crocodile Baby 4 which competes against these two?
Yes it should arrive soon hopefully.
Hi Gal. If you are still thinking about mounting the deadcat frame, please consider filming the process, I would love to see it.
Thanks, I should have extra free time soon and then hopefully I will be able to test it.
Thank you so much for coming out with the review for this quad so quickly. Would you say this quad has better stability when cruising comparing to the Flywoo LR4?
My pleasure. I think that as I mentioned in the video - The Explorer is a better cruiser and the Chimera4 has better acrobatic performance.
Fantastic flying, Gal! Great review!!! 😃
Really awesome looking little quad! I'm loving those little guys! 😂
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks! You too!
Great review. Thank you for the comparison. Hopefully iFlight will not have the same production problems as Flywoo.
Thanks Joseph!

@@KremerFPV it got here yesterday 👍😎
Such a nice video and review. I got my new drone . Would like to fly over 20 or longer. What kind of battery do you recommend? Thanks.
Thank you! You need a 4s LION battery such as this one: bit.ly/ExplorerLionPack
You should see Albert Kim’s last video regarding GPS with DJI OSD
Yes I watched it after making this video, thanks.

Glad it was helpful!
No onboard blackbox capability is a no go for me. Have already ordered the frame and plan to build my own version with some 2004 motors.

Can you please make a video on how to install a finder buzzer? Thanks for the video.

Thanks! I actually just moved a friend's setup to the deadcat frame, so let's wait for his feedback. Ping me in a week :-)
@@KremerFPV That would be highly appreciated! I will do. Thanks 🙏
hello, i am planning to buy a long antenna like in this video. but i use analog with vtx 300mw. will it increase my visibility while flying?
Yes. Make sure to purchase the correct type for your setup (Probably RHCP and not LHCP).
Looks like a better freestyle frame
Tattu 650 4s 8g lighter than gnb 650 4s battery. Would put you under 250g.
Excellent video as always.......

Yes I wasn't aware of this. Thanks!
How well will it perform on a 1550mAh 4s battery? what would the range of the throttle position while hovering be?
It will be too heavy and won't fit well on the top plate.
Much better than flybaaa
Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure buddy.
Is the 3000kv one 6s capable then?
I doubt i. Maybe using 3" props it will be ok but I haven't tested it.
Thanks

I was told by iFlight that my antenna is defective. Please see my pinned comment.
Battery Connector XT60 or XT30 ?
XT30
Nice frame, shame about the poor video range...signal dropped off like a stone...the joy of 5.8g....lol.
Thanks, please see my pinned comment.
i just ordered one yeah

and the deadcat config?? ;)
Still didn't test it and I doubt if I will, sorry...
