Interesting, never heard of a spud pole... I've never heard of a winch on a boat like that either, I suppose you could put that boat anywhere you want with that thing, even up in a tree!😀
The spud poles are sort of like a “power pole”, but by running through the tube they allow the boat to still float and move with waves and stuff. The winch is big for this customer because he’s in his 60’s with back issues, so if/when he gets stuck he can run that cable out and tie it off to a tree or an anchor, and pull himself free. They’re definitely luxuries, but well worth it for these guys who are hardcore trappers and hunters.
Got four pontoons in there right now, but waiting on parts to keep projects moving forward. Lots on the schedule for the coming months including some fun restoration projects!
