To be fair he knew at least that exists a 20 minute cooldawn for invasions after you lose and he choose to die on gravity than fighting you despite being overleveled phantom(Knight's Lighting Spear) for the area.
Lol yeah. Not sure those were even gankers. Gankers usually make an attempt and only jump off the cliff after the phantom is dead. I'm pretty sure I would have runned out of orange juice while taking the daddy alone there.
And this is why I hate Souls like pvp. I don't care it is a design choice. It is a bad system. The invader always have an incentive to try to ruin the fun of the people playing the game by pulling in as many NPC's as possible. Why fight fair when you can just gank the host? The host always have an incentive to prepare a gank spot and wait the invader out so they do not allow the invader the chance to gank them. Why fight fair when you can gank the invader? There is no reason to try and progress the game since that only play into the hand of the invader. Which makes the game boring as the invader is not willing to fight where the host chooses as that favors them. If the host just wants to play co-op with a friend, they just keep getting invaded all the time by someone that have min-maxed the absolute maximum and given themselves equipment they shouldn't even have at that point in the game. If the host wins the battle, they might just have lost the ability to fight the boss so it result in a complete area reset. The invader will complain about being ganked and how unfair everything is for them. The host will complain about being ganked and how unfair everything is for them. It is bad design because the invader do not become a dynamic boss. It just becomes a griefer no one really likes as they try to get to the boss and learn its pattern.

Yeah, I mean they could have easilly rolled over me and those knights, but chickened out.
"you must adhere to my gank spot or I will fucking kill myself" difficulty: impossible
